Filled up in Ealing, London, when I was down there the other week, V-Power was cheaper there than at Whitemere Pool and Redheugh.

Micky

Redheugh is normally the cheapest up here , also filled up in Darlington , think it was £1.17 , anything is better than motorway prices , no bloody excuse for 20p more a litre !

You sorted your arches yet mate ?

I think the biggest shocker is that now Diesel is now the same price as petrol, to be honest i think it should be more expensive as its more dirty and bad for environment, all new lorries should run on LPG.

Over here in France, the French government is so bust after years of socialism, that Petrol is €1.56-1.60 a LITRE and diesel is €1.44-1.48

They are absolutely desperate to get diesel to the same level as petrol, but questions are beginning to be asked in the assemblee, since it's affecting truckers too, which means everything we buy will go up, and farm vehicles too.
To say the French aren't happy at the mo is an understatement, what with strikes everywhere, fuel prices, the government wanting to make all their free autoroutes pay as you use, and the lowering of the national limit from 90kph to 80kph, with stringent fines...well, things can only get better.

Hint to any French voters: next time there's an election, don't run scared from the right wing candidate, and vote in a made up party.....

Yep, not so long ago.

Spells bad new for those living at Dover, Folkestone, Ashford etc, as the fuel sellers there raise prices to cash in on folk topping off before crossing, or filling up on returning.

On my roadtrip in early October from Land's End to Edinburgh and back, V power ranged from £1.49 in Cornwall and Devon, to £1.37 in Wales and the Scottish borders.
