Don't know if there is any truth to this but this is seemingly the explanation behind the price drop in oil, and would you Adam and Eve it it's actually been done on purpose by the Yanks and the Arabs to **** off the Russians.

I would not even think of doing my job in the oil fields unless it paid a fortune to do it

Us offshore fellas " North Sea tigers " lol well not North Sea for me anymore as working in Saudi
Have to go through a immense amount of **** on a daily basis while running high profile jobs offshore
While offshore you are sleeping on a tin can which really could kill you
From fires and explosions however unlikely
Also poison gas like h2s which in the right concentration PPM's can kill you stone dead with one or two breaths, h2s gas leaks on rigs abroad have killed everyone on platforms before,
Just to name a few hazards offshore workers face
Not to mention falling out of the sky on dodgy super puma helicopters.
Then there's the isolation of being confined on a small rig for weeks on end

Actually I have family in the highlands and that wasnt a poke at your ethnicity. I also have mates that work off shore who don't look for sympathy/moral support/admiration on public forums. I guess you're special. I can tell by your forum signature.
