Said by a WRX owner obviously.

Its a nice clean example, but theres no point bolting on STI parts - its a WRX, keep it as that really. Bit pricey to be honest, but if you are happy with the car and what you paid for it, then thats all that matters.

Yeah the STI insurance sting is a pain, especially at 21, but thats one helluva motor to be driving at 21, I had a Mk2 Golf GTI 8v at 21 and even then that was £1500 a year insurance!

looks a nice clean example mate.. if you chose to modify it then I wouldn't go mad for the sake of your insurance.. I don't know who your insured with but the likes of kieth michaels and a-plan don't charge any extra for like for like modifications as far as im aware.. they didn't for me anyway..

mine was a bugeye wrx but with the modifications I had done it went from 215 bhp upto 280bhp

Turbo back decatted exhaust (didn't change the uppipe) as my turbo was pretty much at its limit so we (JGM) and I decided that it wasn't worth doing
STi Panel Filter
Walbro Fuel Pump
EcuTek Remap by JGM..

unfortunately JGM is no longer with us (RIP) but there are many more very good mappers out there..

if you start changing the turbo, injectors, top mount intercooler ect it will become a costly job and you may aswell have held out for an STi..

I also changed my suspension eventually and went for the KYB Ultra SR shocks with Tein S-Tech springs which for me was a perfect set up for the road

this is how it looked on that set up

Thanks mate

I won't be doing any power upgrades or anything to the engine besides a blitz cat-back. I reckon it will be a good few years before I begin to get bored of the power

It looks stunning in white! Loving the wheels too
