So my neighbour rang Nankang this morning - apparently the NS-2R is on back order in this size and medium compound until end of February across Europe.
I rang Demon Tweeks and got the last 2 they had in stock, not the cheapest but at least I'll have a matching set now.
Anybody in the meantime will probably have to go for the soft option, which are probably even more nuts

Hi,
Well I said I'd report back with an update once they'd been fitted...
In the end I had them fitted at my mates place and had the car tracked up also. This wasn't a full geo alignment as time was very limited because it was a Sunday. It was more to ensure that the front wheels were pointing the correct way to save on tyre wear. A full suspension set up will be on the list of to-do things.

Here are some pics:

The tyres grip so much better than before, but to be fair I have not driven the car hard or for more than a couple of miles. I'm taking her back to Zen in two weeks, so that will be then next time I get to drive her. Hoping to push it a bit on the journey down there on the motorway

Any update for us?

I'm currently trying to decide between the NS2R and The Eagle F1 *** 2.

I haven't had the rears put on mate as the car is currently wearing its winter wheels and budget winter tyres due to snow, but I'd say no contest the NS2R wins hands down.
A mate bought 4 based on my recommendation purely on the fronts and he's been amazed with how good they are.
Unfortunately, it would appear others are cottoning on - medium compound is now back in stock but price has gone up by £10!

I noticed that. I'd personally prefer to have them bought at and fitted at the same place but looks like I'll have to pay the £12 per wheel fee

Hi, I only use my car if the weather is good so I chose to go with the NS-2Rs. However, what really swayed my decision were all of the positive reviews from other members and the fact that they perform pretty good in the wet (if you ever need them to).
So far I've probably driven a few miles at most and the tyres still look brand new and shiny. I'll put another update up on the 14th after I go to see Ren @Zen. That should allow me to put a couple hundred miles on them.
Thanks
