Yep, fingers crossed you eventually find one that's to your liking as we can't put up with your whining and I thought my missus was the whining champion

OP, you are after a brand new condition car that's over ten years old or more, for basement price.

Agreed there's loads of shyte out there but you're making out that everything's that way or overpriced - and that is why you're being heckled.

What was wrong with the Prodrive Bug?

no im not looking for a brand new car at all, and why is my budget basement.. its healthy enough to find what im after and eventually I will.. I intend to keep the car for a good few years so im not on the look out for one with a high mileage as a start off point.. if you had 2 cars both the same but one had 70k on it and the other had 50k which would you buy? ive never said I want 'as new' just a clean example nothing wrong with that..

as for being heckled it doesn't bother me...ive had it on all my car search threads and ive still continued to search.

I was set to buy the bugeye and arrangements were made for next weekend but the seller informed me that an Aux belt had snapped and gone behind the pullies and he wasn't sure what if any damage had been caused so the deal fell through.. I havnt heard anything about it since

Imagine if you finally get the car you want that will have taken over a year only for you to drive down the road and the engine pops.

I've bought a few bangers before now in between buying a nice car and it's always the shìt cars that l have the least problems with.

have a look at my project thread, normally I wouldn't have bothered if it weren't for sentimental reasons.....

but nearly 9k later im almost in what I would class as a classic wet dream.

No matter what car it is or what spec it has, it wont truly be yours until you MAKE it yours if you know what I mean. I absolutely had to have forged internals to know I was safe. I do believe when it comes to imprezas you have to splash out. Forgetting the car initially, none of them have had an easy life no matter who has owned it.

Lets just hope this RB5 is what you want and it will make you smile Theres a car out there for you matey, its just how deep your pockets will let you go to make it yours ;

ive had imprezas and I havnt gone mad on them money wise... ive done bits but nothing over the top. I don't have the funds to go mad. I own the cars because im an enthusiast which is why I want what I want..its not all about modding for me, ide be happy with a standard example.. all my past imprezas had been kept in superb condition im sure the guys that bought them off me can vouch for that. if your RB5 fits the bill then ide be happyto own it

What an irrelevant thread,it's like you want to get grief. Wanting a car that's out of your budget blah blah blah, can't wait for the 'been looking for 2 years thread',you might get cancer,lose a limb etc and be unable to drive and would it go through your head that "damn I could have been driving a scoob for the last year".
You even fell into the trap of buying a perfect looking car which had been in an accident! No car will be perfect....deal with it
