Merry Christmas SNET!

You can have his personality and self-confidence, if not his looks and his fat wallet.
Confidence doesn't require Clooney looks or riches. It requires just your belly adequately filled on daily basis, usual clothing, usual roof over your head and most importantly, your inner strength and your potential to develop positive social bonds with other social humans and creatures. You have that alright. Usual peer pressured rat-race performance and the copy-cat, trophy holding false behaviour can be corrected with your positive self-belief. Then you see that you're not the one pathetic with no company but the ones with the wrong company.

In all honesty, cats are ecstatic around Christmas. They get to knock the Christmas tree down, faff about with shiny tinsels, destroy glittery tree decorations and raid the bin for turkey remains. They also get to sit inside gift boxes, go ballistic at ribbons and bobbles and total the wrapping paper with their mighty sharp claws. They know it's time to get extra lively and fatter. True Christmas spirit they have.

I would have been worried had he said Merry Christmas in August when shops start displaying Christmas gear.
The lad put up his Christmas tree in his brand new house for the first time as early as on 2nd Dec. That's one good reason for him to post his Merry Christmas wishes a bit early.
Secondly, anyone taking whole of December as a Christmas month are happier people, and why not.
I say- good on him to share his joy, and to give us miserable lot a Kickstart. I just hope he gets his telephone landline soon.
Merry Christmas, and a blissful day to you all.

LOL cats are so amusing, aren't they?
Like Albert Schweitzer said- "The only escape from the miseries of life are music and cats..." In my opinion, cats aren't just an escape from our miseries. They are naturally capable to enhance the joy that we already have in our life.

Did a mad Santa surf comp yesterday; all dressed as Santa (not easy to surf in!).
Managed to win overall; a load of clothes and a weekend in a swanky surf lodge thing. Splendid!

About all the Les Miserables here, I think they're entitled to their misery, to be fair. Love you lot, too.
Matt, congrats on winning the comp. You may post pics of your event with you in it, and liven up this place a bit. Let's see what you looked like, as a surfing Santa.

You must wish you were a cat. At least for that reason.
I also wish so. My reason is that I would have got to just lord about and do funk all, all day. Also, I would have got free food, warm house and doting slaves; just for looking cute.

I'm afraid it's not a good look but here you go - my missus came 4th - the first lady!
The outfits didn't last very long - my trousers got ripped off and my Santa top got shredded. We were allowed to just wear hats in the final - I had to clamp mine in my teeth while paddling out!
This was followed by a brief headstand - it wasn't exactly World class surfing...!!
