you wont need the helmet until you cross the line at over 110 mph so you will get one run.

if you cross at over 110 the man at the end tells you to put a helmet on.

Do you need a skid - lid etc?
You have a full weight 2004 WRX with 263 bhp?

If I drove your car then maybe 14-14.5secs.

I did a 13.7 with a 2003 WRX running 270-280 but with 100kg of weight saving.

Only running 370/360 in the vid too. OK power still for the 6 speed. I think with 50kg less weight and with the 5 speed or equivalent he'd be hitting 11's.

I would be very interested in seeing some pulls through the gears noting the rpm and speed at your gear changes when you do get to give it a proper run out.

Me too, what would be a good
Time with a hard launch and five speed with that power?
Looking into driveshaft solutions just now for the rear, I've got till
Feb to iron out the niggles. Hoping for a 1.7 60ft

That's a decent 60ft time I'm doing 1.71 for my 60fts on road tyres, hoping for better on the slicks.

I can't comment on times but matt reckons he is the guru

There are so many variables its impossible to tell, track driver etc! My times aren't the best but nor is the track so I have no doubt I can go faster if we take a trip for a weekend up to shakey.

I also need to investigate some gearbox solutions as I have now broken my 2nd 6speed. I might be a bit hard on them haha!

Ha! What you breaking on them? I was doing steady 1.8 60ft's with my golf at 1700kg, PB was a 12.52 1/4.
Be nice to be in the 12's again with the impreza, will need more power for that though.
Plan is to see what time it lays down as is, then increase power to 360 later next year and go again.

I would be delighted with a mid to low 13 as it stands.
Would like to touch the 12's with a bit more power later next year (360bhp). See what happens.
Golf was 2.8 24v 4motion with holset HX40, over 400hp.

I'm not 100% sure it was synchros on the last one. This one feels like synchros and possibly a twisted input(?) shaft but I'm not sure
