Just watched the video, it looks like a spaceframed car with a plastic body over the top of it.

 

Afaik Mike Singh has the quickest 4 cylinder Scoob and the quickest stock bottom end is 2.5 used by Innovative Tuning lol.

Quickest H pattern in the world is the white bullet at 8.468. A Russian GC8 ran 8.498 this weekend just passed.

Taking mine to a drag strip on Sunday, clutch is near and i cant get it done before.

Regarding launching, is it best to hold at say 3k, then slip the clutch out so there no massive peak stress points on the drivetrain? (Regardless if clutch was ok or not)

Some say holding the biting point on the handbrake takes the slack so to speak.

Do this then as soon as you see the 3 yellow lights try your hardest to do a rolling wheelspin.

 

Ended up just driving like normal off the line then going for it. Managed a 14.2 @ 103 haha.

 

Those first 60 feet are the most critical. But without a decent clutch you're up against it. Don't let this result put you off.

 

Was at totb yday. New setup running 435bhp. Low boost 1.5 bar. Had issues so wasn't pushed further. Ran 11.86. Full weight. Full tank.

 

Had a blast myself today, 11.84 very close lol

Was misfiring in 3rd also but good to get a ballpark figure of what it does, only did 4 runs on strip. (Strip is boring lol)

Got into 43s on Sunday, circuit with the scaffolding suspension I'm running still.

Same as me. I got 45 first then 43 on second run that's all i did. I would have got better if i took the two sharps bends properly. I went too fast and undeersteered really bad n went over the litlle cones n still managed 43 lol

 

I managed to finish 10th overall on the handling circuit in my full fat blob road car that I drove there and back in
