RB5's Show your self
Just had some progress pics....looks awesome, I cant wait....When I just sawyour name on the thread I thought ' oh bollox, he going to give me a hard time about using an immigrant wash' lol
Let it slide this once mate as its gone in for some work but that's it you won't get away with it again without plenty of stick from me ;-)

Arch clearance pic as requested 6VOLT.
wheel: 9.75 et20, 18inch
tyres: Nankang NS2, 265/35/18
no spacers required
Pedders suspension (30mm) drop
abw arches positioned accordingly to make the car look lower then it actually is

a few mm clearance, no rubbing not even with back seat full

Nankangs ns2 awesome tyres for the money, more Grip wet&dry the Toyo's I usually run, although the extra 50mm width might have something to do with that
Here's number 79.

Hi Peccy.
Mine is done now, i'll get some pics up tomorrow.
I too have gone for the ns2's. Im quite impressed with them...It would appear that you have no gap between the arch and body work where the bumper meets the rear quater.... how was this achieved?
I need to drop my front coilovers a fraction and the stance will be spot on.

not sure about the no gap you mention but i know he made a point of making the arch fit flush to prevent spray leakage in the wet
Is your Impreza absolutely bone stock?? If not then I guess its not a real Impreza
Here's mine at the moment, afew points to note, I need to drop the front a little and the pics are of the car with a set of 10mm spacers on the front due to it having longer wheels studs etc to clear the k-sports... the spacers have now been removed and it looks a lot better.
next bits are: sti rear wing, possibly a p1 splitter as I think it lowers the front a little more than the splitter I have at the moment. Also need to give the wheels a little bit of negative camber...so in essence, just sorting out the stance.

I am all for modding but completely destroying a limited edition car is not good sense. Just look at the price of unmolested Classic Imprezas and you will see what I mean.

I am so glad that the destruction of all these Limited Editions or rare models is helping genuine owners or enthusiasts who appreciate their cars to build a future classic market.
Why not make them better and rescue them for the future and their trip to the knackers yard. An RB5 had none of the bits you have added so it's not an RB5, is it?
But I am sure the SIOC will love it. As a ***** waving, pub bore, stats argument and money pit, it's a hit.

Hi Dave.im happy but its going in today for a few more tweaks just to get it perfect...thanks :-)
Trooper..I get your gripe with it all I do...but the car was a sh!tter when I got it and like many classics was destined for the scrappy...so I decided to do with it as I please...as it is my car after all, just because I have decided to go down this route dont brand me as some kind of sioc moron....and at the end of the day if I wanted to return it to original it would take no more work to unbolt the arches and have new rears welded in and the front wings replaced than it would have needed in the 1st instance.....oh and its mine to enjoy as I please...so when these things are worth 10k give me a shout ill be sure to paint it orange to bump yours up a bit more....if you have one
And it is an Rb5 isnt it..its 86f steel blue...it has ****e rear seats that wont fold down a mock sti blue interior and a slightly shorter throw gear lever...all of which the standard classic does not...so they are not Rb5's

But it did commerate a legend and the only English man to win the WRC, Richard Burns.
Another one bites the dust, never to be really what it was. The stuck on wings, arches and stupid stretched tyres will fade soon, just like stickers and neons, unless you are completely brain dead, thank fewk. Or I could have put RB5 stickers on my JDM STi Cool Grey V5.

IIRC the RB5 front seats are the same as in the 22B.
Yea that's the one, it's been in storage since until I get around to sorting a few bits out on it. Job commitments and a house move took priority until now.
So hoping to put it back in use spring time.
