rb5 stu 06 November 2014 09:19 PM

I had one but a jeep wrote it off.

Lee_ 06 November 2014 09:53 PM

Here Sir!

Mine is currently parked and getting upgraded with a rcm fuel pump, 550c injectors, VF37 and matching equal length manifold, exhaust, remap, panel filter, spark plugs and ECU remap.

It's a bit of a project and requires plenty of other stuff too!

I'm hoping to get it all done and back on the road in the coming weeks as I miss driving it!

I like the Archies , I was thinking of doing the same to my car . I was wondering what size wheels and offset you were using ?

How does affect the steering and feel of the car? how wide are the tyres and do you get any tram lining?

Only ever had 18's to compare to but these handle and ride the same as any normal width 18inch, if anything more grip. Tyres are 265/35/18

Jersey Barton 28 November 2014 02:46 PM

RB5 #027 is in Jersey, I exported her nearly 5 years ago from a private collector. Been serviced every 6 months from new and currently looked after by The Mansell Collection. My pride and joy that I use for hill climbs, sprints and track days in France :-)

Hart 28 November 2014 03:09 PM

Great to see these knocking about.

6VOLT 28 November 2014 04:16 PM

Classic purists will probably tear me to shreds for this one but hey ho, spent a bit of time owning an E46 M3, S2000 etc but couldn't stay away forever. My first classic impreza.
I wanted a short project to build up for the Nurburging next year, but gone a little further than expected.

Yes I have a quote I'm happy with. I went for XXR 527's 18x9 et20 with 255/35 profile tyres... It will look close to yours...im afraid to say :-)

Big sparks 08 December 2014 12:50 PM
