Shame because he was pretty serious with his modding.
Couple of my pals done the C20LET engine conversion on their cars, one had astra gte and the other had a nova (£35 grands worth that he sold for £7 grand lol) the nova left my wrx standing! They were in magazine or two.
They done the same as your mate now. one owns an old X5 now and the other a new diesel astra

A few of my mates have just got sensible cars lately, one got rid of his R1 for a Yaris makes me feel pretty selfish at times keeping mine, a few people now say instead of spending £1500 on a sportscat, intake hose and remap I could have taken the family abroad.

My mates Corsa didn't last long after he sold it, but I think it's been rebuilt since.

If it is still about I hope to never meet it - 301bhp per ton.

I know what you mean,im running out of pals with tuned cars now,im one of a few that doesn't have a family yet, which probably explains why i keep mine lol. I still got a mate with a skyline who's spent over £20k just under the bonnet! And the the guy who had nova still has his r6.
Old vauxhalls never die, they just get faster lol.
I bet that corsa shifts!!

It is going strong, just asked my mate and it's now a Time Attack car!

Only seems 2 minutes ago it was parked in my drive! Lad who created it at the time was so blaze about it too, he barely mentioned it! He just turned up told me he'd sold the Cav 4X4, now had the Corsa, had a bit to eat then buggered off home.

My other mate is the same, turned up on his R1 and barely mentioned it's capabilities. I ram Billy's stats and figures down their necks every chance I get on Facebook.

I had a 3 MK3 Cavs. First was a 1.6L Hatchback, then I had a 2.0L 8v 4x4, then I had a GSI. I've still got a couple of GSI/Turbo bit's and bobs kicking about.

I got offered a Cav Turbo for reasonable money when my GSI was written off, the transfer boxes blowing up put me off though. One of my mates had a Calibra Turbo, had nothing but problems with it, so traded it in on a MkIV Supra.

My mate who has been a passenger in it with just about every owner says mine feels faster. I think after 60 though it'd spank me badly.

Not sure what I'd do if Speccy offered to swap his 450bhp 4x4 STI Corsa for my WRX.
