I do chat with Iain occasionally on Linkedin. His car sounds a like a "Beast"!! In fact he invited me to a meet, Sunday before last at the Air Craft Museum. but I couldn't make it. I'll be back on here more if another Scooby ends up on my drive.

Very friendly bunch of guys, yes it's a beast, you can't really talk over the fuel pumps priming it a serious bit of kit, I would like your old wagon to be up for sale always liked that car too. Thinking a about a bug again but it won't touch the sti for speed. Your cupra won't hang about they are holding their money well. Maybe see you in the future malc at a meet😄

The "old girl" has been sold twice since I had it - minus the 2.1 stroker though.

Again I was tempted.

Still making decent power and a good price, prefer the old wheels and would of like the stroker back in, hmm pity I can't travel too far I miss out on all the deals, the guy for the sti jumped in the car and come from Cambridge, nice chap. Wagons give you that little bit extra for the money.
