5.8GB?!?!?!?!? Dear God, what bloatware. Is this how Apple will try to persuade people to buy the more expensive larger models?

For some reason it restored as a new device, she's now found a backup in icloud and recovered some stuff, but her videos which were the large chunk of her files haven't been restored, from memory icloud doesn't back up videos.
Like I said, not impressed, why do apple persist with such major regular updates? The regular XP updates towards the end of it's life were frustrating, but from what I've seen the major apple updates seem to be getting more troublesome and catastrophic in some cases.

Am I now in trouble for not proclaiming it to be the most revolutionary thing since the invention of DOS?
I am buying a 6, we have a lot of Apple products but I am not blind to their shortcomings or the hype.
Your blinkered, obsessive approach rather kills any credibility you might have ever had.
Broaden that narrow mind...

Had the files been lost as a result of hardware failure I'd agree, in 20 years as a PC user I only remember losing 1 file, a word document I completed and was mailing via a dial up modem. To be able to lose these videos as a result of a software upgrade just strikes me as a fundamental flaw in the approach to software upgrades.

Brilliant so far. One on device update and a full restore for my old iPad 2, so cool that it's still supported.
Health is a little disappointing, didn't work on my bike ride, everything else is awesome. I'm even getting to like the suggested words thingy, only used it on android before and it was ****.

A minute exercise equals 10 calories.
For anything serious ( beyond showing off to fellow geeks ) get yourself a garmin
You don't have swype do yer.

I wonder how many iPhone users will start to complain of poor performance with the new OS?
Got a 6 and 6+ on order anyway. One of the perks of the job.

Theme, LOL. This is an Apple keyboard, it already looks great, don't need a Lego Star Wars version.

Why get a Garmin when I already have everything I need. You could have spent that money upgrading to an iPhone.
