Everything looks about right there I'd say... the hose coming from the T piece by the actuator - Is that connected to the boost solenoid? If no then pop it on, if yes then try switching the 2 solenoid pipes around and go for a gentle test drive and slowly test boost.

The pipes can't be swapped around as one of the pipes is angled to fit the other is not.
long enough.
Thanks

Checked all the plugs and seem ok, The previous solenoid was not working, also the HT Leads we're not working so they were changed aswell..

Can the arm of actuator be adjusted to allow more boost through?

Thanks

What do you mean it wasnt working? you said you were getting 1bar+ before?
Yes, from your photo you can undo the nut and wind your actuator arm in/out... if it is set too loose it will not build boost, if it is set too tight then it will overboost.

The car under accerlation was missing and power cutting out, the Mechanic checked the boost solenoid and it wasn't solenoid was not clicking and he said that's the cause of the power cut under accerlation, it actually turned out it was the HT Leads that was the problem, didn't affect the boost as I was still getting 1.0 bar plus reading on the old gauge.

Personally I think I would be inclined to re-fit the old solenoid and see what happened... do you have photos of old and new solenoids?

Thanks Sam, Haven't got the old solenoid I think it's the garage where it was changed, but I'll take a pic of the new one and post it.

Yep, that's normal.

Mine is the same at idle: circa -0.6/-0.7bar

Thanks Joz, it's just that needle only hits 0.5 bar when you put your foot down, last gauge was reading 1.0 bar plus...

- Yeah, I just meant in the idling scenario.

- Hope you sort your 'on boost' problem out - good luck.
