Lockscreen notifications is a curious one to claim, seeing as the notification bar has been able to support quick-view for ages, and if that's not exactly how you want to interpret it lockscreen widgets have been available since (I think) 4.2.

There is a difference between 'capable via 3rd-party app but not included in vanilla Android' vs 'flat-out impossible' - and to keep things fair, I'm comparing capabilities available without rooting/jailbreaking.

Check the related links too

I'm being offered £165ish for my iP5 from various companies; any good? It's a black 32gb model.
I got £215 for my 5 64. (not ebay, from a recycle company - can't be doing with ebay messers though would have got around £250)

Once you paid ebay listing fees, final value fees, postage fees and paypal fees it would be a lot nearer to £215 anyway!

I live very close to Waitrose, use them as my fridge, plus free coffee.

You use touch ID. Another thing Apple did right.

I did try a comparison site but they all came up with similar money. It's better than a poke in the eye I guess.

I used ebay, got messed around the first time with a foreign buyer (my mistake as I hadn't blocked them), but 2nd time went with no problem. I would have thought a few hundred on ebay (not looked)

The comparison sites are like cash convertors, great for a quick hassle free sale

How and by who exactly? It's an end user issue, not an Apple issue. Besides, the solution is simply and really shows this is a non-issue.

Apple users can avoid the need to free up storage space for the latest update by upgrading their software via iTunes on a Mac or PC, instead of through the phone or tablet itself.

Took me quite a while to find it, listened to it on a bike ride, for the money I paid I have to say it was great.

Bloody iP5 really has packed up now.
Wobbly battery meant it kept switching itself off (by shaking it, I could get it to turn on again) but now I just cannot turn it on again even when plugged in.

I do hope the iP6 is much better made because I've had far too many issues with this 5 - new on/off button, new screen, new charge port, the aux port is dead and now a wobbly battery that's bu99ered it up.

Grrrrrr….

The users shouldn't have to worry about such a menial thing in the 1st place! And also why should they have to do it via itunes/pc. I guess what I'm getting at is why is the update so god dam huge, its a ridiculous size for a smartphone update.

Really feel sorry for the poor saps on low end broadband connections to, that update will take days to download, fail.

yea ok it still needs 6gig freespace so its probably compressed. Anyway a gig can take a while to download on DSL for example.
