I can see a debut post coming soon:

"Hi everyone. I've just bought an 05 UK WRX STi in blue.
However, when I went to fill it up with petrol it had a sticker with Japanese writing on it under the flap. What does that mean?
"

Joking aside if some car company has bought it we have a problem, in fact we already have a problem but this would just add salt to wounds.

C performance or whoever have staff dedicated to buying cars, they will be all over the net last thing at night and first thing in the morning on top of also having subscriptions to any magazine/paper that sells cars.

They will be phoning sellers first thing with their car sat outside with the engine running and cash in their pockets.

Why do we even need secondhand car dealers, the warranty that they provide can be purchased by any member of the public straight from the warranty companies them selves so for what reason do we need them?

With the exception of main dealers they are just well trained bull sh1ters that create more problems than they solve and charging thousands for it. They will drive the price down when they are buying the car with their scare tactics and fake car knowledge then do the opposite at the point of their sale telling the customer they offer a premium service for the money, what, a phone call to a warranty company and a valet.

ok rant over, I feel better now.

Don't hate the player matey, hate the game. That's just life in general. Fair play to them for spotting a gap in the market and making a living from it.

Plenty of people on here have bought themselves great cars and will continue to do so. IMO if someone drives prices up then they're doing owners a favour.
