in personal opinion the hawkeye looks great, and albeit the 2.5 has its faults it is a great lump with regards to low down grunt and makes for a great road car. Also mines on 78k and the engine has gone (kiss of death lol) also on a full decay and panel filter it made 355bhp and 410 ft lb of torque so has more power than any blob sti with same Mods oh and did I mention it looks nicer than a blob

Cheers bud, picked it up off Craig off here. Promised I wouldn't play with this one. That lasted all of a week. Mapping needed correcting, suspension needed raising and sorting. Set of Jdm sti alloys fully refurbished in hyper black came up, genuine s204 centre caps ordered. Full ht autos lower line kit ordered and fitted, bumper off headlights out to black them out and replace the orange bulbs, spec c grill mod to name some smaller cheaper mods trying to keep it oem looking yet with my stamp on it. . The up and coming house purchase has halted any big plans for the foreseeable future. Just time to enjoy it until that chocolate 2.5 goes pop lol

Been thinking of selling mine but before I would sell mine for 6.5K I would rather leave it in the garage..

Surely a mint condition Hawkeye STI with low miles is worth more than 6.5k, given the 2 in the link have quite high milage at 73k, I know all about the engine issues with the 2.5 engine but a car that has been mapped early in it life (within is first 1,000 miles) should rule out any HG issues as this was the main cause of the HG failures

Do you think the colour of the car would make a difference to the cost..?

Think it could just be some people being desperate as well.

I'd like to think mine would be worth a fair bit more, but then it has been forged so rules out the 2.5 issues that everyone goes on about.

The market is generally all over the place for a lot of the cars at the minute.

There is a white hawk sti up for about 14k or something like that at the moment. If I remember yours is an absolute minter and I wouldn't let it go for any less than 11k.

Theres no issues with hawk sti prices at the moment, you get ups and downs at different times of the year and you will always get cheap ones that pop up, there has been a few on here in the past few months (new members) that have paid around 11k from a dealer and they were nothing special.

I would pay 15k in a hart beat if i was in the market for one, not just me it seems to be the going price at the moment going of a few I've seen for sale although you're has the brakes.

Is the £140 tax because it was registered early of because its a jdm if its because it was registered early then I dont think it makes much difference, you either want one or not.

Prices are all over the place at present and its hard to make sense of the pricing of any Impreza. There is a guy currently trying to sell his 2005 Widetrack on one of those Facebook pages...Ok its covered 113k but for 5.5k ono it looked a good buy!

I just paid £10.5k for a 25k mile 1 owner 2005 Widetrack Blobeye.

Big overlap on Blobeyes & Hawkeyes pricewise.

I was looking for a hawk for over a year, the thing is finding a nice impreza these days.
Finding a JDM is hard also spec c hawks are fairly rare.

Hawkeyes are a bit of an enigma to me. Sometime they look stunning and in other guises less so. They seem to react far more greatly to styling and colour details whereas a blob or a classic always look generally OK unless they have been chavved up.

White and black hawkeyes look the best and let's not forget this was the last proper Scoob before the Darkage arrived.

You're only the second person that I have seen saying drive by wire is ****, for what reason is this?

Upto now I've only heard good things like ECUTEK racerom that has duel maps etc.
