Muslim shops???? I'll take three ordinary Muslims and a jihadist for later

Actually you can bring the Muslim supermarkets on for me. I make my own Asian food and the stuff they sell is a quarter the price of the crap Tesco and the likes churn out and better quality to boot. Plus you can get every ingredient under the sun. Bring them on!

I am all for multi-culturalism if it means I get to cook and eat fantastic Asian food You can shove your roast beef and your fish and chips up your **** as far as I am concerned.

Here we go again.

Oh yeah, +1 on the "Muslim" shops 1kg of hot madras curry for £3.29, for which in Sainsburys would cost over £10 in those little box tubes that are barely enough to make 2 curries for about £1.50 each and crap.

I'd be interested to see what all these Daily mail readers would eat on a Friday night at 3am after a night out on the alcopops if we got rid of all muslim shops.

KFC, Mcdonnalds, and fish and chips, but they'd have to stay awake until 7am to get mcdonnalds breakfast or 11am for KFC and fish and chips.

Surely not quite right IMO.
Yep they sure were.

I think you need to have a look at what the Polish people did in WW2 before you start slanging them off.

One of my best mates dad WALKED from Poland to join the RAF criss crossing German lines so he could fight for this country along with MANY others that performed similar feats.

Polish food is lovely BTW some of the best cold meat you'll eat, not to mention the Vodka.

I don't want them in my british high streets.
First the polish shops then the Romanian shops next the Muslim shops.
Well quite frankly 'the Brits' can **** off. It's that kind of closed minded mentality that causes problems in the first place. I've been working in a reasonable sized multinational/cultural (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Indian etc) company for years now and on the whole everyone is perfectly accepting of everybody else. So it can and does work.

What would he think knowing we have MOD sites set up costing millions of pounds every year specifically to house and care for Polish veterans?!?!

Stipete75 believes he is a free thinker and that and those in power conspire to "divide and conquer" the masses and cause friction in society. Yet, ironically, he fails to see that he himself is a victim of his own conspiracy theory, as typified in his responce; divided and therefore conquered.

We are all victims of daily injustices, difference is I can see through the bull5hit.
Yes you are quite correct in that I am divided on immigration and the "multicultural society".
So is 50% of the country as proven in UKIP's rise to fame.

So the Brits can **** off out of Britain for having a legitimate opinion about immigrants?
That makes sense, kick the Brits out and fill the isles with Multi-nationals.
You sure you aren't a back bencher with the conservatives.

He didn't slag off Polish society (from how I read it) but the changing face of our high street to accommodate this massive wave of economic immigration we have faced in the last 10 years. This is justifiable IMO, and nothing to do with WW2.

Do try and read what people say before you reply. You'll find it helps keep things on topic.

Well as the son of an immigrant I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this has been going on since the end of WW2 and it's the same old **** re-hashed for another segment / economic demographic.

Your / my government is inviting these people to come to the UK for the same reasons they invited my father here, which is the indigenous population consider themselves above menial low paid tasks.

Lots of the Poles who came during and after WW2 were people escaping the Soviets/Stalin, so often educated quite often, intellectuals even in some cases.

The migration of Poles now is very different.

I don't think the Poles wanted for the aggravated assault on Paul Kohler were doctors or engineers.

I'm from Nottingham and there is and always has been since the end of WW2 a large Polish community, I can tell you from 1st hand experience (not hearsay or conjecture) that the vast majority were not particularly well educated or affluent but just the "ones that made it" so just a general cross section of Polish society.

But as with most Immigrants they posses a DESIRE and DETERMINATION to do well which is something that is quite frankly lacking in British society, here they seem to think the world owes them something just for being British.

Then when the world does not deliver to their expectations they look for someone other than themselves to blame.

That's stereotypical crap.

Why are we paying Poles in Poland child benefit if they are the noble self-sufficient strivers to fantasise about?

As for entitled, is there anyone who isn't? Why were Doctors striking or MP's wanting more pay?

Seriously? Some of you are offended enough to stop shopping at JL because of this?

Bearing in mind, it's a Hijab that's going to be for sale.

I'm not sure who this country should be more worried about :-/
