I'm just outside Cambridge but the usual suspects also map ESL and are mobile, RaceDynamix, JGM, BRD, etc.

So not too far away then

I have a question for you Andy.
If I was to have an ESL board fitted to my WRX which has stainless sports cat and HKS panel filter what sort of result would I see over standard? And then if I was to change the injectors to 440's with a 255 fuel pump what would be the results over the map with just exhaust and filter change?

Ta

Oh and what sort of price do you charge for mapping/fitting and supply (if you do that)? PM me if you want to

Has the fuel pump ever been replaced, Glenn? Or is it nearly 20 years old?

Get a fuel pump and injectors fitted, before mapping. Saves paying twice.

Andy will see you alright.

Question How much?

So who's local'ish to me that does mapping of the ESL board?
I'm based in March, Cambridgeshire and not really bothered if I have to come to you or you to me! How ever, I am bothered about the total price. So what I'm after is:

Who can do it?
And how much will cost me in total with supply, map and fit?

Please leave me a price below or PM me.

Thank you in advance

Is it a wagon or a saloon?

The short answer is it will be faster. Quantifying how much before it's done can be tricky as there is variance between cars.

Ok, TD05-16G then.

With FMIC, fuel pump, 440s, decat and induction 300-340bhp is possible.

Using hp as a measure invariably opens a can of worms. I feel its better to use vehicle acceleration as a benchmark to optimise performance.

Not got and wouldn't have front mount or induction kit. Just HKS panel filter, but would probably get 440's and 255 fuel pump. Acceleration always better than top end, if I'm thinking along the right lines lol

No problem, if it is the standard top mount then you probably won't need the injectors.

Acceleration is everything and proportional to torque, peak HP (on the dyno at the crank) is a contrived value from torque at one particular engine speed, and doesn't tell you much.

Yeah lol

But I do agree with acceleration is way better than top speed

They aren't mutually exclusive, you will get the best of both worlds.

So if I was to keep my standard injectors and fuel pump, what sort of safe increase could I see Andy?
