I dont believe that there has been 50% of said cars fail, the point I was making is info on forums can be misleading and you feel for the bait.

I am expected to believe everything I believe on this site but when I get some info from another forum you say it is crap, make your f**king mind up, am I to believe the information on forums or not.

And there has been lot of failures with the A45 AMG, I have posted some of the posts from owners of said cars that have had failures already on another thread but there is a lot lot more.

You said 50% initially, YOU said that!

As for believing stuff from a forum I will make my mind up when you point me to the forum with all these A45 failures. As I said last night (admittedly on a fairly brisk search) I couldn't find any.

You aren't confusing having a precautionary turbo change as part of a recall (there's that word Subaru UK don't know again) with failures are you?

Anyway post up the link either to your thread with the failures or directly to the threads in question as I could do with having a read of it.

I dont want to get into another debate on the A45 AMG, it is a car that I like and think if anything its to good and subsequently separates it self from what would be a great hot hatch battle.

I put this time and time again but for some reason people refuse to take it in. I know that there is a issue with the 2.5 as there is with lots of cars but would like to understand how big the issue is rather than excepting the SN massive.

Anyway, its a bit of a mess so put you're glasses on but here is some posts from A45 AMG owners, there was a lot more but just picked a few to copy.

Okey dokey ... I have found the thread on the A class owners forum and a very nice chap has posted the official figures.... up to 20/08/2014 11 have blown a turbo (worldwide). All now fixed under warranty. Recall for other early cars done to fix the issue (test turbo, replace if out of tolerance and amend oil line).

So that's 11 that have blown meaning by your 50% figure they must have sold 22. Ted will be pleased to know how exclusive his car is

In future please don't write any old rubbish that pops into your head. Thanks

Chris do you own an impreza at all??
you already stated you don't have a 2.5, so why argue the toss with people who actually own one and have experience of the cars and the failure of the engines?
a lot of people on this site myself included are long term impreza owners where as you have zero experience of the car to know its good and bad points despite being constantly told by people who own them.
in summary only a total **** jockey would persist in arguing with experienced owners about something they know sweet **** all about other than what they have read about on the internet.
this also applies to your merc argument.

Bored now.
The 2.5 is a decade old and it looks like Subaru are tuning the 2.0l direct injection engine with the latest JDM release. So happy days we may soon get a new engine in UK.
In the mean time keep nursing your 2.5s.

No it wasn't your point, your point was to try and say another marque was way worse than Subaru. Here is your quote:

No mention of you thinking it's BS or you read it on a forum. Posted as if it were fact.

You are the one who is unbelievable. You try to pretend there isn't a big problem with a car that definitely has a big problem and then try to pretend another car that doesn't have a big problem has a big problem.

You come across a bit mental quite frankly!

Have been a subaru owner for about 11 years on and off, I have had two classics one blob and one legacy but due to getting sick and going into hospital for a year and subsequently loosing my business my home and all my cars I am now subaru less. I came on to the forum because I was doing some research into getting another subaru but unfortunately I had to go back into hospital and have since had more operations meaning no car.

Unlike most of you I have no life and find it hard to leave the house or even walk which is why I p1ss my life away on this god awful site. (Whats you're excuse)

I will however be getting another subaru soon and will be back in the game, at that point I will be stepping back from the site and leaving you lot to spread you're doom.

So when you don't have a Subaru you come to the Subaru enthusiasts site, but when you get another one you won't be coming on here any more.... this gets better

Do you eat and drink when you're not hungry or thirsty and starve when you are? Sleep when you're not tired, stay awake when you are.... just wondering as there's a theme developing here

I'll argue with the experienced owners while I don't have a Subaru and when I get one I'll leave the site....

Will you f**king listen, I am not pretending there is not a problem with the 2.5 engine, THERE IS A F**KING PROBLEM WITH THE 2.5.

As for the 50% post, I put it so it would get a reaction and prove my point that information on forums is ****.

me
50% or over of A45 AMG s have failed and there has also had to be a recall on all that were sold before a certain date.
you
Absolute bollox.... why do you write lies to support your argument? Oh yes, because you are wrong!
me
I am glad you agree, its the information I got from the A45 AMG forum, not everything you read on forums is true*

I came on to get information and it keeps me going till I get another, I then said I would be stepping back not stopping.

And yes I do eat and drink when I am not hungry or thirsty, I get my nutrition via a tunneled line to my hart every day, ie a iv dip (in fact I am connected to my iv dip as we speak) but have to keep eating and drinking to try and train what little bowel I have left to start working

The sleeping comment also has more truth to it than you would believe but to long a story for now..

I think 28 failed cars in just 3.5 years is pretty big already.

I know that Engine Tuner has done many during my time as an owner on the hatch sti forums, plus the few I personally know of locally.
I'd make that 50 cars then at a very rough count, but I'm sure its a lot more than that!

You are a sad pathetic probably old man who's d1ck doesn't work and at a push has just about managed to find a woman that will live with you.

You had a subaru a few years ago but now continue to come on this site to troll and look down on people who dont have a amg.

Not go away you sad old pr1ck and go and pick on some other enthusiast, I think you have done all the trolling the site deserves.

Did you get bullied at school, is that why you come on here and get involved in a thread that is of no interest to you and attack other for the interests.

The funny thing is you have bought a cheap amg and go to supercar meets or events and mix it with the real rich lads then come on here to tell us all how the other side works I was driving a one month old Merc 2 hours after passing my driving test when I was 17, there nothing to me other than a car that my old man drives, or used to.

P.s by battery is going so I will have to get back to you later

Average engine failure rate across the board is about 2%ish http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/car-new...ngine-failures I think that there has been about 65,000 2.5s sold across Europe, dont know what percentage the uk has but if we say 10,000 then thats 200 failures, I expect it could be higher than that though.

I have a feeling that the only way that Chris will take this on board is for the CEO of Fuji Heavy Industries to come on to Snet, persoanlly address Chris with something like "Chris, we hold our hands up, we fcuked up!"
