I wish I did have a money tree, luckily I bought the car at the right price (for me that is) and that's allowed me to carry out the modifications I wanted, at albeit in stages.

I'm now on the train back from having dropped off the car with Ryan for the rest of the planned works including the forged CDB engine build.
I'm expecting great things.

I've seen that happen and experienced it, you spend more time anticipating the end result and when it's finally completed it's an anticlimax.

I would have happily have kept the car, but it just didn't make financial sense to throw around £6000 at the car to only really add £3000 to it's value.

Well That Idea Didn't Last Very Long
I picked up a set of Ecutek 800cc injectors which I won on a whim on an eBay auction for the princely sum of £94 including delivery, not too bad when they are around £450 brand new. I have to get them flow tested just to make sure they are 100% but I'm not expecting any problems.
Plus I bought from a member on here a Zerosports TMIC air splitter / deflector which channels the air intake from the bonnet scoop directly onto the TMIC which increases it's efficiency.
So it's lookiing likely that the car will be heading power wise towards the 450bhp region, the turbo choice will most probably be the new T36 unit which is being sold exclusively by EngineTuner.
So I'll be on the lookout now for some uprated headers and a more free flowing exhaust system.

Sounds like a good plan is coming together for your car, think the only route is the forged engine and you got a wolf in sheep's clothing with BHP figures nice!

Not really Bry, I cannot think of anything really - apart from the brakes and suspension that is.
You never know Lee but I have to say that this car suits my needs far more than any of the other models, it can be quiet and refined when needed but with a flick of the SI button it changes character.

I picked up a real bargain over the weekend a Mishimoto cold air induction kit, a real top quality setup and easily as good as K&N or other better known brands.
Plus also I should be picking up a set of Cosworth AP 356mm front brakes very soon, having more power is nice but being able to stop quickly is even better.
As a result of this I will soon be putting up for sale my front black Brembo STI brake setup including brand new Godspeed brake discs and Performance Friction brake pads.

The TMIC has come off and apart from the fins all being bent it's in surprisingly good condition, there is a fine mist of oil as you would expect which would seem to indicate that the VF48 turbocharger is in good overall condition.

So I've made the decision to uprate the fuel system to a parallel fuel rail setup, luckily Ryan has a set of CDF Racing top feed fuel rails spare so we are going to use them and the rest of the components will be coming from Torques.
I did have my concerns about re-using the standard fuel rails and pipe work and despite it being possible to handle the increased load imposed upon it I decided for safety to go ahead with the uprated parallel setup.
Here are some pics of my latest purchases - my Cosworth AP front brakes and my Mishimoto cold air induction kit.

Yes the bells are going to be painted black, they are the 355mm brakes and should look great behind the 19" Prodrive GT2 wheels which are also going to be gloss black.

Thanks Daz, she's coming along nicely.

Thanks Rob, yes it'll be on very good hands and with a specialist who gets back to their customers, and doesn't then as if by coincidence buy the very items that they were asked to offer advice on.

Unfortunately customer service isn't one of the bul$hitters prioritys, however making himself (or trying to) look god is. You live and learn ay.
