hi guys thank you once again for all the info, change topic as much as you like guys i enjoy the reading, i could take it back but if i get it done i know itll be proper plus my mum has cancer so cant be without the car really, my logbook says wrx300 but others have doubted it actually is
Sorry to hear about your mum mate ,, lost mine to cancer so kinda empathise
Id still get it done in warranty ,,, they should be able to change a turbo easy in a few hours ,, just explain the situation to them
Wrx300 afaik has to be a 2005 ,,, heres the pamphlet http://www.subaru-impreza.org/downlo...eza-wrx300.pdf ,, does yours have any of these wrx300 features ?
Regardless of if its a wrx300 or not i still think a brand new turbo from the dealer you bought it off on the warranty is not unreasonable and worth a call to them ,, after all whoever fixes it youre gonna be without your wheels for a few hours at some stage

lol yup as I recall - no gearknob, seats, wheels ,badges etc etc and wrong year - the biggest question has always been why does it say wrx300 on the logbook when it cant be one and the real ones don't even say wrx300 on logbook - still in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really make any diff to your turbo issue - go get a shiney new one free on warranty ,, you know you want to
