I asked if it was a uk car, as i had seen posts on here questioning its origin,

You stated it was a uk car, but said it had been exported abroad at some point, i said cyprus (as they are rhd) and you said yer think so,

And i have never mentioned on here the way it drove, yes i does drive good and very quick pulls brilliantly, but as i told you in person i was worried about bottom end knock, and the bodywork dings and scuffs

I made a offer of 4k as i said to you it would take a bit of money to get it up to spec, you said 4.5k was the lowest you would go, thats when i told you i was going to look at the type r, never said i would take it for that,
Glad you found yourself a nice car. You seemed a decent bloke too. Didn't expect you to come on here and say things which are not true on the other hand hence my response. I also think I have been working with these long enough to know a knocking engine from a good engine without knock. As I said earlier I don't want to get into a hand bag fight over a 15 year old "used" Subaru done 123k with mods and 5 owners.

I also never claim any of our cars have come out of the showroom. They are all used cars, we will try our utmost to declare ANY faults known to us. Yes they are used and we can miss the odd thing here and there. But a knocking engine.

Glad you found a good motor mate. Have to say the Type R looked awesome on paper. And WMS did the build so its all good there.

Forged engines do have a slight rattle to them on a cold start - something to do with the forged pistons requiring greater clearance in the bore as they expand more - something like that. I'm not technical with this sort of stuff tbh but it does seem common for forged engines to sound rattly. Mine certainly does it.

Anyway looks like you got a great car there, and its a type r too so i'm very jealous!

Make sure you post up some pics asap
