Just heard Toto Wolff on a Radio 5 Live say that if there are any more comings together there may well need to be driver line up change. Bye bye Lewis.

Yeah Lewis has had a real 'Webber' of a season so far.
Strange thing is that Vettel has had a similar run of bad luck too.

LOL, Lewis's car wouldn't start in P1, but did eventually, now he appears to be out of P2 as it won't start at all.

Meanwhile Rosberg's car is in perfect working order

I reckon Rosberg has a mole working in Lewis's team of mechanics

In all seriousness it's not deliberate, but what is clear is that the mechanics are putting that extra 1% of effort into Rosberg's car that they are not into Lewis'.

As far as I can count this is the seventh problem they have had on Lewis' car in qualifying and practice this year whereas there has never been a problem with Nico's car I think(or was it one issue early in the season).

Those statistics cannot be an accident, there is a process failure there somewhere and it's about time Lewis called it out whether it rubs the team up the wrong way or not.

It's the same with the pitstops, Rosberg's are up to a second quicker than Lewis' in the races... why?

One of the reasons he gave for leaving McLaren was a lack of reliability, here he is in the same position.

Yep have to agree with that F1. All this talk of luck is just a side show. Hammy's reliability issues are down to parts, equipment, and team personnel failure, not what side of the bed he gets out of.

Hamiltons is leaving.

Mercedes want the number 1 plate next year. Only NR can deliver that.

He got out with 20 minutes to go and ended up second fastest so at least the car is working properly.

At the moment.

Did you really suggest that Lewis has tantrums yesterday?

You feeling ok Chris? I'm getting a little worried.

At least Ferrari seem to be up there.
I just hope they're not flattering to deceive as they have done so far this season.

To be fair I shouldn't have used the word strop as this season considering the way it's going I think he has done well not to lose it a lot more than he has.

That said I wish he and for that matter Nico would just both shut up and drive.

Spa was clearly a bit amateurish on Rosberg's side, but **** happens and it's over now.

It was interesting to see their demeanour at the press conference yesterday as I expected Lewis to be all butt hurt and quiet as he is still the loser in this, but it was Rosberg who still seemed out of sorts. Whatever has been said has clearly affected him.

I do have a theory though. I think Lewis is emotional, but the outbursts, strops, call them what you will, means he can dump the effects quicker whereas I think Rosberg is a simmerer and he will not be able to clear his head of things.... we saw that over the summer break after Hungary and that is why Spa happened.

I think Hammy has the easier job now. As you say he can shed all the angst by throwing a hissy fit, Rosberg has had a slap and looks like he is feeling the sting.
Lewis has nothing to lose by going for every chance.
All Rosberg can do is look over his shoulder because he knows Hammy is the faster driver given the same equipment and racing conditions.

I still think Lewis will go back to McLaren for a spell with Honda power.

For the team to get rid of either next year, unless ham wins title, is gonna be a pain, either get rid or world champion or faster driver. no doubt lewis would be well ahead of nico if he had better reliability. as much as i think ham is a maoning spoilt brat, he is easily the faster of the teo, qualifying and race pace

When his car works he usually puts a good quali together, not always, but usually. That said as he himself said there are no points for Saturday! Plenty of opportunity for issues at the uber fast Monza tomorrow.

A DNF for Rosberg tomorrow would blow the whole thing wide open.
