Well i know for a fact that the new type RA is NOT going to be released in the uk in the near future so that must rule out both the S202 and which is based on the type RA the STI limited is an uprated version of the Jap STI7 (also both are classed as Grey imports and not going to be maintained by any uk dealer who wants to keep their franchise) (also the reason that the PPP has/is being released for the STI7 type UK!) so without putting a downer on it, it could just be a PPP'd STI7 with leather interior

Well the time has arrived and yes it's here.

Unfortunately no pics yet as i've been too busy putting 300+ miles on it. Boy is it quick.

Spool up from the turbo comes in just below 3000 rpm then off, interestingly the dealer was wuite happy with me revving it to 5ish rather than 4 they said it would free then engine up more?

Well 5 comes bloody quickly.

When I calm down a bit I'll post the pics.

Chiark get ready to see it hopefully real soon.

Cheers Hawkeye

It's a shame you didn't get a boost gauge in the spec. I'd like to see what boost spikes you are getting with a decat exhaust

And the dealer saying boot it in the running in period.....hmmmm, what about the bulletin genuine Subaru dealers got about not thrashing the demo cars until the first oil change was done....

Don't get me wrong, not having a pop - don't really care what the car is or who it came from.....!

The leather inside looks terrific!

Piccies of the bonnet scoop, under the bonnet, engine, brakes front and rear, exhaust etc please.

Your calling it an STi7, so it's an import, right?
I still find this hard to believe that IM are giving the waranty or is the dealer personally underwriting the waranty?

Um..

that looks like Prodrives replacement backbox for the MY01 onwards cars.

Looks pretty much like an STI7 with leather - anyone spot anything else. ??

Id say that the car is a euro import, probably sourced from Monty's in sheffield who are no longer a uk approved subaru dealer (check your service book) leather is probably an option along with the aftermarket stereo.
Not putting this car down but NO type UK badge gives it away at being a euro import.
Leather is nice though

Tony the car came from a franchised UK dealer, their name/postcode is not on the number plate as they are private plates. I had them made up myself. presumeably you don't want a piccie now?

I think Tony wants convincing that the plates are actually UK plates and not say Cyprus.
