All in all im am reasonaly happy,

The worse part of fitting everything was the injectors!!! Passenger side was easy but I had a leak on the drivers side and needed a new seal which I had luckily enough.

The Walbro unit is slightly louder than the standard unit but I can live with that.

The car is obviousley not boosting like it did beforehand but I guess with the bigger turbo and intercooler it has more space to fill.

Its booked in tomorrow at GT Indigo for a remap so we will see how it goes!!!

After the remap its saving for a 6 speed conversion then TD05 20g or similar.

Ok so I had the remap and safe to say I'm really impressed!!!

Going a different direction now I don't want or need a six speed and chasing for late 300bhp.

A nice healthy 320bhp and good torque figures.

Not bad for a £130 turbo haha

Just to give everyone an idea of how to get a newage wrx to over 300bhp and how much it cost me -

Turbo second hand td05 16g (admittley a eBay jobby) - £130

Pink injectors and sti intercooler from Paben on here - £180

Decat up pipe from ebay 2nd hand -£30

Decat downpipe eBay 2nd hand - £30

Walbro fuel pump - £60

3 port boost solenoid - £30 eBay 2nd hand.

An remap £350.

So total cost £820 :-)

Iv often looked at the spoiler and thought it doesn't look right.

Il keep an eye out on a genuine one as I know the one my car is a copy anyway. I also want the Perrin stiffies if I can find some.

Iv filled it up today and going for a drive over Brecon Beacons in abit :-D

Anymore progress on this? Found a td05 exactly the same as yours and was advised against fitting it on here
