People crack me up. If he can afford 25, then he can afford 30 - and it won't make a jot to his day to day living. Surely?! (Esp. as we can assume he runs an Impreza, after all!)

I'm sure some people just make ridiculous offers just to be bloody minded. So that, in their tiny minds, they feel they've 'won'... 'got one over' the seller.

Either that, or he's some kind of weird masochist lol...

I'm in no hurry to sell, and I'm certainly not going to rip myself off, John.

He can have them for £25. I won't post them for that price though.

Apologies for the gender assumption.

But surely money is not a problem for you anyway, what with all your competition winnings?

Is your other half the co-driver?

Do you mix it with the all-male crews? (Apologies if that comes across as sexist).

When/how did you get into rallying and realise you had an aptitude for it?

Any chance of posting pics of your car/it in action?

my partner hates it as he did time attack many years ago but i'm trying to talk him into it.
Very long story but i did work for my partner in a scooby garage and he is a master tec. He asked me to drive a customer back who did drive national a and it started from there really. he rang my partner who was my boss and told him to get me on track to promo the business as i have a talent for remain calm at speed (dont ask how he found out ;0) and it stared from there. we ended up together and I took over the bussiness as he had enough and just really flock and build inside of cars now and he just works on my car when it needs repairing so now i'm his boss lol. he built me two cars to pratice in and get a co driver but he wasn't happy with either cars as there were just two which can in part x so he got a v1 sti and built a car from a shell to which i drive now at national b. I was a street racer before in a noz built fto Which he built again lol) and part of the deal I only race on track as the car is built for that use. I have trouble finding co driver the last one passed out in the car but I hope I have a new co and we are only a female team to show the boys blondes can drive and yes i'm blonde lol

Interesting anecdote.

What were the other rally cars, before you got the STi?

What brakes have you fitted on it? APs?

Do your brakes stand up to the punishment, esp. on tarmac stages? Or are they often on the edge of fade, etc.?

Genuinely pleased for you. I'll save this one for when you crash and need another.

Apologies also for the gender assumption.

Indeed.

What size turbo-intake restrictor (if any) does Gp.N stipulate - 34mm, 38mm...?

Is there a maximum power output e.g. 300bhp, 320bhp...? Or it's it just a case of whatever you end up with with the restrictor in place?

I run 34mm which normal dies about 290bhp but we want torque but soon find out as being mapped next week and just changed to a billeted td04
From a vf34 so see want happens 290bhp 340 torque will do me :0)

Is it Scooby Clinic's version of the billeted TD04 - or Andy Forrest's?

Excellent turbo choice, given the restrictor's power 'cap'. As you elude to, it's gonna spool like a very spooly thing, keeping as much of the maximum torque as possible in the all important low-mid range area of the graph. Very important for windy rally stages.

BTW, do the rulemakers allow you to get a remap done with the restrictor in place? Or do you have to map without it on, and then fit the restrictor after, at the event?

Lol the blue states it has to be fixed in place by two bolt and sealed so you map with it in place and it does take a lot of performance :0(
