Jack cottle defended his actions to police by saying
I'm proud to be different & I live every day like it's my last ..

This ***** should be made to wear a Hi-Viz & dropped onto the front line in a war zone !!!

Rant over

We all listen to the radio, change stations while driving.
You're right it is hard work when you make a flippant comment and then people start to rip you bits calling you a retard and questioning your morels but iam not the one throwing stones in a glass house.

o/t

The BMW E34 has a cubby storage thingy next to the hanbtake which is the perfect size for six sheesh kebabs! The table around the gearstick is perfect to hold your chutney on especially when using a non slip mat.

If you massage the kebab grease into the steering wheel leather after eating it looks shinier longer

Was much younger, slimmer, braver, single, kidless and jacky the lady back then.

I never meant no harm but if a deaf granny with a new born baby in a pushchair appeared on a dual carriageway right in front of me there would be no way i'd be able to avoid her.

Anyway that's another subject (and smoking whilst driving is naughty too).

Pretty much the same as this kid done in the video. He didn't mean no harm. What he done was silly and he probably realises that even though he might not be publicly stating so (do not underestimate peer pressure).

I've driven round a few race circuits when there's a race on, including Brands Hatch.

It certainly focusses the attention!!

Those German engineers think of everything don't they?

As for matey boy and his track exploits my guess is he didn't have a clue how dangerous that could have been. That's not making an excuse for his behaviour, but an awful lot of people see cars going round a track and think it is just like driving to the shops, but a bit more quickly. Witness the number of people who think they could actually drive an F1 car when most of them wouldn't get it moving fast enough to corner properly and that's if they could get it moving in the first place.

I just think that unless he has a genuine screw loose he would never have done that if he knew the real danger of his stunt!

When you consider that each of the 26 teams paid £4k+ to be there, and the idiot caused the race to be red flagged, I'd say some damage was certainly done (albeit financially)

Yeah thats what I thought but he's only been here 5mins unless he's re-registered. but I though I was quite calm and collected for someone that was having my standards measured and being called a retard.

I'm actually amazed that some people on Facebook are actually saying he wasn't really in the wrong, and they'd have done it given the chance.

*****.

What's all the talk of banning the guy from driving & getting the police involved. The circuit is private property not part of any public road network.
The police have nothing to do with it.

So if an intruder breaks into your house and steals your possessions or kills your wife, that's okay then? Private property you see so obviously fine.

I am talking about people suggesting banning him for traffic/driving offences.
I always thought 'private property' had different status & rules regarding road traffic offences compared to the public highway. The question is probably more accurately is a race track private & does it have some legal differences to a 'normal' road?

You are talking about comparing it to a serious criminal offence which is not subject to the same differences.

Are you for real? He took a road car with passengers onto a race track whilst a race was underway. The girl was protesting from the very beginning and rightly so. If that what he does with a car on private property, God knows what he would do on the public road.

He is an absolute tool. And of.

+1 I can find no reasonable argument against this. There is a difference between youthful exuberance and outright dangerous behaviour.

As for his response, well not having the decency to apologise is further condemnation of his character.

You and me both.

I can see this is going to mean that no public will be allowed anywhere near the access point to circuits meaning a much longer walk for Joe Public at some circuits.
