Not complacent. Just don't concentrate for the FULL match. Incredibly frustrating.
Happens all the time: we always seem to concede a goal from a set play in the last few minutes. And In tournaments, when it properly matters.
Drives me nuts.

It wasn't decent at all, if it was a decent performance they would and should have scored more goals earlier, they had possession for most of the game, terrible same old **** as always, can't score goals. They were lucky they got a semi-decent free kick in, otherwise it would have been a loss, which is what they usually do in the 1st game of a tournament.

That's why I said decent "football".
But of course, it means little if you can't actually convert all the possession, inventiveness and industry (rare for England) into actual goals!
That's why earlier I said you MUST strike when the iron's hot.

I'm not saying it was Brazil-like (when they were good ) or anything of the sort, but it was just as good as anything on display so far. "Decent" doesn't mean "great."
I'm not an England 'apologist' by any stretch - indeed I'm often swearing at them for producing little in the way of quality. But if you think that was a crap display of footballing skills (aside from the obvious missed chances) then I'd say you're being disingenuous. We were playing a side ranked 3 places ahead of us and were all over them in the first half. And held our own in the second.
Either that, or just hating on England for the sake of it - 'cause it's the fashionable thing to do.
