You've already done the most damaging thing you can do to a business: Voted with your feet and told others about your experience in a measured way which will probably mean they vote with their feet too!
If that happens too many times, the business will go bankrupt, simple as. As for the intimimdation tactics: one day they'll do that to the wrong person and end up with in casualty, but let someone else do that: no point in ending up in the s**t with the law to make a point. You live by the sword, you die by it as the old saying goes.
