RIP. Sad news, but he's at peace now. Your pain of the loss fades slowly with time but the warm memories don't.

Complete inability to be able to tell anyone where his pain was (he'd also suffered a broken neck amongst other injuries during a fall a few months ago) or what he wanted or needed, was so frustrating for him and those around him. Losing the ability to communicate with a parent is real tough.

As always with Parkinson's, you die with Parkinson's but not because of it. Cause of death on certificate listed as Pulmonary Embolism.

Sorry to put a downer on things but I guess it helps sometimes to write things down.

No more pain Dad
RIP
Awful, just awful. Not much more can be said apart from you have my condolences mate and that I do hope that in time the positive memories about your dad will over-shadow the disease related ones and that this will bring you a lasting comfort.

All the best

Paul.
