Another 'miss' for me today....I seem to be on quarterly attendance rather than monthly!
Gotta take daughter to perform in a show.
I was looking forward to the drive and checking out my new Pink clutch, freshly bled brakes & new lambda sensor.....picked up from FB Tuning last night and it was feeling very spritely .....
Now looking forward to some sprinting over next few months!

Had a good time at my first meet at the Rodney - thanks Lorraine for being welcoming and I can now show a pic of my 'reclaimed' GB 270 spoiler I harped on about so much. It certainly sorts the car's shape out nicely I think - looking forward to Fraser cutting a hole in the roof for my non-functioning scoop!

I think this was certainly one of the bigger meets I have attended. I hope to see more like this one.
It was very nice to meet some new people incl. Frayz and the legendary 'Bomber' ...although I should apologize for being a little away with the fairies this month. What can I say- I was just stunned into silence by it all! Eye-candy overload!
I look forward to next month where I will try to be a little more 'present'

Legendary. Lol, it's only because it's now so old I almost qualify for classic car insurance.
Think Knotty mentioned last year about maybe going out for a drive at the pub meet one month. Would be great to go out for a gentle blast seeing as we have so many great cars in the club.
Ross's Spec C, Stus 202 and the Forrester STI are all firm favourites of mine.
Great to see Dans STI back on the road again too. Crackin looking car

This sounds like an great idea!! I'm still getting used to the area and I'm always open to discovering new places to go for a drive on a nice day.
It's one of the things I miss about up north. I used to enjoy going for a run around the Dales and the likes. I rarely venture out to explore the roads around here for fear of either getting lost or thundering down an unexpected pothole (as lets face it, they are plentiful)
Just as long as we are talking a gentle blast and that I wont come round a corner to find everyone has gone! haha!
Either that or I could leave Ol' Slow and Faithful at the pub if someone wouldn't mind me hitching a lift with them? Don't want to come across as cheeky, it's just a thought

Absolutely. The whole idea in my mind is to be out enjoying our cars. Enjoying doesn't mean putting yourself or others in danger by driving irresponsibly and that includes speed.
We all know these are quick cars so we have nothing to prove to anyone else or eachother.
I happy to lead or go at the back, I don't mind.
However if you're worried about it and my passenger seat happens to be free, you're welcome to ride shotgun.

Whereas I could try to keep up if needs be, I accept my car is what it is and I'd ultimately have to rag it to catch up again and I just don't really want to do that. It's not built to be driven like that and I'd probably just break it.
Plus, if the bung is out I haven't got a hope in hell! It's all sound and no go!
I've got to be honest Frayz, if the offer is there, I'm going to find it very hard to turn down a trip out in The Bomber, especially if you're thinking of parting with it soon. That's like a once in a lifetime experience right there. I'd be honoured! Thank you for such a kind offer I really appreciate it.
We will just have to see what happens
