Ha ha horrible ain't it! Really small too!

Anyway had a few hours continuing the mammoth cleaning task as the car has been sat out in the elements for months. It was covered in a thick layer of grime and mould...

Good couple of washes, t cut and polish later....

Put the back lights in to help keep it water tight...

Also spent some time cleaning and degreasing under the bonnet and arches...

Plus removed the horrible carbon dipped fuel flap and refitted the original...

Wow Drew, it's come up pretty pristine (are you happy with it? You're not going to paint it afterwards are you )

Yeah it's come up well so far, few little bits that will need attention in time but for what I paid for the car I'm very pleased, particular as the arches appear in excellent condition, this was after a quick 1st plass clean, plan to paint all the inner arches too!...

Not bad for a nearly 20 year old motor!

Even cleaner now after a good degrease jet wash and a lick of paint, few more layers to go on yet but coming on!...

Cheers bud and thanks for the early morning part collection!

Mangaged to swap the seats over from the silver car this morning as it's going to it's new owner later today....

Plus whilst at Tim's he emptied my wallet yet again with a nice newage hdmi front mount intercooler that I'm hoping to modify to fit...

Plus these should help me stop a liitle better, v8 Sti brembos with uprated discs and new ebc red stuff pads....

Looks good. What made you change the shell then?

What is it your using to do these arches? I keep meaning to do mine, I'll get a chance now that the car will be off the road.

Just the colour, I don't like the silver and was always planning to have it painted white then this one fell in my lap! So thought it would be easier just to restore this one instead!

Using plenty of degrease, meths, rust primer, white hammerite with a final white gloss finish!

Pls! My manifold is rotated and planning to clock the v34 also!

Did it bolt to bumper bar or front bonnet catch strap?

I was thinking I might have to mock up some brackets and have then welded on!?

You're welcome drew, love standing round chatting in the rain
Looking forward to getting it rocking it's engine and management to be honest.
Think you/we should do newage coilpacks as well as its going to be a sweet thing once it's done.
But they're never done....
