Just get yourself on FB with an alias...that's what I've done after a break from it for a few years; chat to your friends and don't get unwanted knobbers stalking you. You never know I might even accept a friendship request

 

Or be like me and not give a damn who knows who you are on FB.

Trev, being on holiday isn't a valid excuse. Ian and I, decided it wasnt.

Got a new loom and blob rear bumper (to be modded) en-route from Matty @MB Developments too. Hoping they'll land early next week!

 

Well the new parts arrived today.

As I've said I'm fitting a blob rear bumper. Reason for this is the Blob bumper is smoother to start and the wheel arch section tucks in a lot more than the bug bumper, which will marry up to the skirtless look better imo.

eg, Bug kinda flares out towards the bottom



but the blob tucks under a lot more.



Now I don't want it to look like a blob from the rear so I will be retaining the Bug tail lights. (I like making work for myself ) This will require a small amount of re-working around the light area. The Blob rear lights sit slightly proud of the boot whereas the Bugs don't!



Should look the part when done, a few other small 'BLU' tweaks will be performed on the bumper too
