Right guys bit of an update. Got a few more bits done. The car has been off the road far longer than planned but its getting there now and im pretty happy with how its looking under the bonnet. Here is a few pics

needed to make a remote ps bottle so here is a few pics

I also had to come up with an intake pipe, this proved to be a complete pain in my back side but I got there in the end

The car is pretty much all back together now and first flick of the key she fired up, not bad with it being off the road 6 weeks and after so many parts being removed.

Next on my list I want to relocate the battery to the boot, make a nice polished ic water spray tank, and also a nice washer bottle.

I love the intake pipe it's more of a straighter path instead of it going back on itself.SJ.

I need to stop looking at your work, it keeps giving me more ideas and you'll possibly bankrupt me.

Right guys going to do a quick update , the car has gone thro a few changes.

I decided to change the wheels on the car and was going to go down the wide arch route

I loved how the car looked on these wheels but they scrubbed quite a bit and after a bit of head scratching I decided I couldn't bring myself to cut the arches up when they were in great condition, so the wheels had to go and I brought these.

If im honest I was very disappointed once fitted to the car, I hated them, looked so wrong, but I liked the wheel so I took a gamble fitted some low profile tyres and painted the wheels, I was very happy with how they looked then

Car was sat looking good but a little high so a set of coilovers were needed.

Car went for mapping and made 320.4bhp which wasn't bad I guess but the hg was showing signs of leaking under higher boost so I decided it was time to pull her off the road for winter and get a few things sorted.

New intercooler was on the cards and I wanted to go down the cosworth route but wanted it to all sit behind the bumper and not be hanging out the front so I cut out the bottom of the slam panel support and welded in a thicker slightly lower one, this would allow better fitment of the cooler

Then it was time to start getting the bay ready for a fresh lick of paint

Ive got quite a few more pics to upload so will do another update later

Cheers fella, I did love the comps but was never a fan of the sti wheels, it sits much better now its on coilovers. my problem is I like to be different from everyone else and a lot of type r's run the comps, for a good reason I know but im very pleased with these ones now.

I like the wheels but its hard to tell what shade the bronze is, if you could get them close to the rays bronze they would look spot on. Think its a mazda color that is close to the rays bronze, will see if I can find the color code
