When these new regs come in around the 19th/20th May this year, where the maximum size tank you can buy is a 2ml one.
What will happen with the current tanks that people have like the Smok, Uwell and innokin etc that are well over 2ml. Will you still be able to buy spares and atomizers for those ?
I was thinking of buying a Smok TFV8 Big Baby Beast tank, do you think it will be better to put it on hold to see what happens with these regs that come in soon ?

So that's why i bought the big baby tank as it comes with its own tfv8 RBA and using that more now as i believe that'll be the only way to continue to subohm vape in the future without being screwed over, IF the TPD ruling happens.

And there will be loopholes if TPD is enforced, so the way around the 2ml tank limit is 2 fold; buy larger ml tanks now and the other is squonking, 8-10ml bottles should be TPD compliant as they are not a tank But i guess you could argue that the ruling includes any tanks used for e-cigs. So we might see squonkers as the future? who knows.
Liquid is again 2 fold, either buy nicotine now and store it so you can 1 diy or 2 buy large volume bottles of Zero nic and add the nic to it.
I reckon 72mg nic will be sold off at massive discounts by vape shops in April
Again, who knows what is actually going to happen after May.

TPD ruling is basically a load of bollocks and i can't see it being policed properly at all. How are they going to check all the thousands of vape shops for one?
Anyway I'm not that worried about it really because i DIY. If i was still buying premium retail juice i might be though.

Nice one, just reading that people freeze nic so will last for a long time,I know it will be available to buy from places like China but I'd rather buy a few bottles from our shores for now,I'm only vaping 3mg nic now so 4 or 5 100ml bottles should last me a few years
Like you say we'll just have to wait and see what happens in May but there will always be a way around the bollox legislations

Sounds like completely pointless legislation to me... Bird in one of my local vape shops said... it's like they're trying to get us back on the ciggies... wouldn't surprise me if there had been a fair amount of lobbying from tobacco companies to get ministers to push for this.
It's got more loop holes than a string vest, new phrase... made up by me... "String vest legislation"
I too don't see how they'll police it, it's nigh on impossible... unless they make a new government department with literally thousands and thousands of employees all over the country checking mail, shops and the internet etc... which I doubt very much.

Even now you get larger tanks(glass) in kits, they will just come assembled as 2ml, with a 5ml tank. When that gets banned you will always be able to buy them as separate parts.
Boils my pi55 all this EU crap, they dont give a damn if we live/die as long as they get tax. As they are loosing out from cigarette tax's, they need to find another way.
Vape for thought, this is California and how it is effecting their state. Although different, its all to do with money not health.

There has to be regulation, although better than smoking by far it's still not a great thing to do to yourself. As I see it, it's working, I see far less youth smoking and see far more old duffers vaping, if you make vaping too easy youths may take it up for fun.
Still a pain in the **** as I now have to look for a new supplier of premixed nic base.

You might be able to use the same supplier you'll just have to buy 10 x 10ml of that premix base

I went for the boss shots that bioforger linked, they are quality,I'm supposed to steep my 1st batch for 4 week but just can't help pinching a few ml of the unicorn milk,it's my favourite vape even before the 4 week steep and for the price (roughly £1.20 per 30ml@3mg nic 70vg/30pg) The cheapest DIY I've made

Don't really know exactly, VG i guess would go "off" quicker than the PG as it's more organic, but you can't even chill it in a fridge as it would just turn into a thick mess I've read people saying 2-5yrs or more in a sealed bottle for VG and slightly less for PG.
It doesn't really matter though does it? as its so cheap to buy.
