The only reason i'm using 18 watts is i read on google that the Pulp liquid i'm using tasted better at around 18 - 24 watts, i just started off at 18 watts, i'll experiment more over time.

Can you buy other drip tips for these kanger setups ? Ones that are non metal, either glass or a type of plastic that doesn't heat up like the current metal drip tip.

Yep its a universal size, just make sure its for a 510 connection, so for example the crown's drip tip would fit in the toptank and vice versa.

The subtank's drip tip is that delrin plastic type, but only in black or white i think.

Other options,

Does anyone else use the Kanger Topbox mini kit as i have a question ?

On mine when you sit the tank on top of the mod the tank leans to one side amd doesn't sit flush on the mod, it leans towards the front of the mod where the control buttons are. You can see when your tighten the tank that their is a gap on the left edge so the tank leans into that gap and doesn't sit flush. It works spot on otherwise.

That sometimes happens when the 510 connector hasn't been put in completely flush. You can with the tank slightly loose bend it square again, by levering the tank with pressure in the direction it needs to go, but obviously use caution

It's a genuine one as it's from MyEpack, it's not the fault of MyEpack, on this particular one Kanger have over champered one edge of the mod so it then leans that way.

I've spoke to MyEpack and they were good, i've ordered another one and they said to ship one of them back for a full refund including return postage.

Yeh MyEpack are very good, i've used them plenty of the times in the past.

Jack, you wanted to know how i was getting on with the Samsung batteries. I've used the first one from a full charge until it was virtually empty, i started using it at 4pm yesterday and it was showing as being virtually empty at 4pm today. I'd say i'm a moderate user, i don't have it constantly welded to my hand, i just have a couple of drags here and there as and when i fancy one. So 24 hours off the first battery.

Sounds good. My new one is a different league, was thinking I'd have to carry a power pack with me to charge the old one. I charged this morning and it's still on 3/4 bars.

Pretty sure that is where this battery excels, higher discharge than most. No doubt I'll find out soon enough.

A quick question on e-liquid strengths.

In this mod type setup that i'm using, i'm using 6mg strength of nicotine in the fluid. For some reason it's making me a bit light headed.

Previously on my basic stick type setup i was using 12mg of nicotine, any ideas why the lower strength 6mg of nicotine is making me feel a bit light headed ?

What strengths is everyone using with a mod box ? I think i may have to drop down to 3mg and see how it goes.

You will be using more juice and a bigger hit with the new setup.
I personally use 5mg nic in my home made juice.
I would try 3mg and see how you get on,the less the better I suppose mate.

It took me a week or so to adjust to sub ohming, i had similar "symptoms". Also had a bit of an irritable cough. It will past once your body adjusts though.

Jack, how are you getting on with those LG batteries in your new setup, how long are they lasting and how much do you use your e-cig.

I'm running the samsung on it's 2nd charge, getting longer this time. It was 24 hours virtually exactly last time, on the 2nd charge ive been using it from 7-30pm friday night and it's not run out as yet.

Compared to the first one it's great, still one bar, charged at 9am. Hardly touched it this morning, pretty steady... but probably too much this evening. This wil be the first time I've run it flat.

Hit the sack around 1'ish, up and out for an hour this morning, still going on one bar. Have put it on charge as I'm going out for the day. Not having to fill the tank is a boon as well, 10ml tank wins.

46 pages....I have read a fair few posts over the time.

Simple question....recommend me a 'starter' package , £100 tops for it all and something that will last.
I've got to the point of where I'm sick of the cigs so need to get motivated.

Links to what's a good package would be much appreciated

If you're just starting out then you don't want to go for subohm.
A good starter kit would be something like this:
http://myepack.co.uk/kits/kanger-top...arter-kit.html

And some cheap ejuice from here to test a few flavours out:
http://www.onepoundeliquid.com/
A cheap way to see if you get on with it mate.

This one is for bio mainly, or anyone else that's using a Kanger Top Tank Mini.

No matter what i do i can't sop this top tank flooding through the air holes, it's mainly after a refill but it's also doing it while in use depending on which air hole you choose.

I've read online that a lot of people are experiencing the same problem, it seems to be down to one of 2 things. When you unscrew the top cap to fill it with liquid the tank apparently loses pressure which people are saying it then floods the air holes, apparently it needs constantly sealed pressure to stop this leaking. To fill it they say you need to close all the air holes and do it as quickly as poss, you can't fully close all the air holes due to its design.

The other issue where their is a video about it is where some of the wire from the coil is sticking out from underneath the atmomizer seal at the bottom, the red one on a SS version, that apparently means that the seal is not fully sealing with this wire underneath. Who knows but i know this tank has got fairly frustrating with all the leaking, it leaks quite a lot.

I wouldn't know Rob I haven't used a toptank, i had a subtank before, now i have a Uwell Crown, which hasn't leaked at all. The Crown is also a top fill (or bottom fill) tank, you also have to close the airholes when refilling, but you can fully close them.

As bio I had and still have the kanger subtank, never leaked.
The toptank shouldn't leak either. Clean it up,make sure everything is nice and tight and all the seals/Orings are in place.
+1 on the Uwell crown tank,I'm back using this now and even with top filling it does not leak(apart from the one time I put it together wrong)

Yeh, their are plenty of threads about it on google.

https://www.google.co.uk/?ion=1&espv...mini%20leaking

Everything should be tight and the seals fine as it's brand new and it's how it left the factory.

Just to add
I started off with tobacco flavours, then after a couple of month moved on to some fruity/minty flavours.
I'm not keen on the dessert stuff.
It's all about personal choice tho and I know plenty of people who just stick with tobacco flavour.

One thing I will say is that I feel 100x fitter and my chest feels miles better after quitting 25 years of smoking

I would still be tempted to take the tank apart, take the coil out, give it all a wash under the tap,dry everything out and put it back together.
Make sure the coil is screwed in nice and tight and see how you get on.
If it's leaking from the air holes then the juice is getting past the seal on the bottom of the coil.
