Vapemail
At long last my mod box arrived, apparently the order was 'lost' by the courier!
Contacted them yesterday and they posted another straight out plus a free bottle of liquid for my troubles.
Currently slurping on the strawberry fields, very nice.

Loving the subtank nano, great upgrade from the mini protank(which has been excellent) and the option to swap mouth piece over is good.

I loved my mini pro tanks, they were a pain in the **** sometimes but did the job. EMOW was a good upgrade from them and Subtank another leap so you've taken quite a large step up.

Yes Jack I was very impressed with the mini protank and will definatly be keeping it as a back up. I have been told to take it easy on the subtank as a friend had a few dizzy spells when he first started on it. I'm currently using 18mg nic but will be looking to drop lower when my juice is out. I'm still waiting for my battery's to charge so not had a blast on the new kit yet lol. I was also told to go straight for throat hit with the sub but I'm so use to going mouth to throat so not sure how I will get on with that? Only time will tell I suppose.

I'm on 12mg and thinking of lowering it, I can definitely make myself dizzy. Got 500ml of Thug Juice to get through first.

I've had my subtank a few days and it has taken a while to get used to. This subtank mini is nothing like the Kanger one I had before - which was rubbish and leaked from day one.

I found the tip on the subtank far too big so switched to a innokin gladius tip.

Thug juice is a very tasty one indeed, just finished off my 20ml bottle. 500ml is a fair bit to get through lol
I agree Edd,the tip on the sub does seen a bit wide,I will see how I get on but will probably switch to the smaller tip

I had a Vision Spinner II with an Innokin Gladius. The Gladius was really inconsistent and I was starting to give up with vaping and going back to the ****. Completely by accident I smashed the Gladius! so gave me a reason to buy this lot.

Sigelei 50w box
Kanger Subtank mini
Samsung 18650 x2
XTAR charger
Aspire K1 - will be my back up/taste tester on the VSII
Grey Haze Cherry Menthol 12mg - want to see if it's like Red Astaire
Grey Haze Fruit Cocktail 12mg - haven't really tried many flavours so making a start

Haven't tried the cherry menthol and the fruit cocktail is the cloud chaser option (for the lols)

The Aspire isn't adjustable but I have to say its more manageable than the subtank. I too found the 0.5ohm coil bit much and I'm running it at 15w. To be fair though I am getting on top of it so after initially thinking I wouldn't get on with it I'm actually quite happy with it now.

I'm also going to mix my own red astaire from concentrate for personal use. I go through so much of it I may as well make my own.

The Gladius tip had very slight play when fitted to the subtank so the white at the base of the tip in my first pic is PTFE tape

It is strange at first if you are use to the standard thin tips, the idea is for a drip tip big bore style. The subtank is fake(so to speak),has the girth but inside is narrow so no real benefit. The atlantis has a big bore,so more benefit from the extra vape...........if makes sense. I find after using it for a day or so it becomes the norm, then unsurprisingly, reverting back to thinner tips feels odd.

Either way, important part is what works for you,comfort/experience etc..........no real right or wrong imo

With battery's charged and my first couple of hours vapping on the new mod box.
with the subtank I have found, straight to throat is different but am already getting used to it,the throat hit is a warm one and the flavours much much more intense(lovely)
The mod has 7 setting at 8,13,20,25,30,35&40w,I have settled for 25w with two air holes open in the subtank. Loads of vape, great hit and full flavours
The kanger mod box is well priced and like you say ven the 18650 changeable battery is excellent,I can just carry a spare and swap when needed.
All in its cost £60 for mod, tank and 2 battery's (the other 2 batterys I bought are not suitable, will use them for my torch)
I would have spent £60 on cigs in a week when I smoked so am well happy
Even better when I start making my own juice thanks to ven on the tut.
And thanks to this thread(cheers Jack and everyone else involved in the thread) I have been off the cigs for over 4 months and feel much better for it.

Torches............you mentioned,a few of my vinh lights(req a google)

Triple quad XP-L of 5000 OTF lumens of pure white flood with solid copper heat sink, custom built

I have over a 100 18650 cells, all different IMR/INR etc,all my ecigs and flashlights have cells in(well over 60 lights),my spare draw not including cupboard of another 6 cell

yeh i know..............

Back on the mod,may get myself one,i dont use much over 30W tbh,no need for my use. Like the slim design too,and as said very reasonable cost.

Nice set up,would recommend a delta 2 tank next time you go for another, nice flavour/vape and happy to go up to.........well pretty much what ever you desire on your mod. I use a meagre 20-25w on average with the delta 2

Cheers pal
Strawberry fields are definatly the sweetest I've had, especially now the flavor is more intense,it's nice but not sure I could slurp on it all day. I've got the northern monkey(banana) and the kiwi slamma to try but think they will both be very sweet too.
My favorite so far are the thug juice and jungle juice from mount baker, wish I'd of saved some of that to try in the subtank but I'm all out
There is so much choice it's unreal! That's why I might just start making my own brews.
What is your favorite so far?

Any info/link/advice pm me any time, just let me know thrower/flooder or both, what tint(warm/neutral/cool) etc and can advise on cells/chargers and importing(works out cheaper).

One thing i am well up on

That pic is not all my vinh lights, just some,i have many many many more

Latest is the niteore tm06vn(vn is vinh) with led swap to u3 and 4800 OTF(out the front and not led lumens as loose 20%).

On subaru keys i have the dqg spy ti

or dqg hobi
These are some i rotate every few month on keys, the little ti or brass etc are 200lm of pure flood

Seriously,i use for work uses(engineering) also camping etc and also get carried away with everything.............may tell with my mods .

A flashlight as a tool is about the most useful you can have, its dark for 8hrs a day,why not make it light.................lets be honest they are useful and yes a may have took to another level. There is a lot to it,not just a tube and bulb....great for out walking to...........well simply put seeing in the dark. I like different tints/lights etc, just as some collect knives(yes have some too)

But i am like that with most things
3d helis too

to cameras........

Guess a case of boys and their useful toys

Agree, good luck, starting with the right kit made all the difference for me.

I first started on those VIP ecig(ones you drag on and glow at tip) i did very well and lasted 3 days due to more on the fact it cost me £30 at time Then back on cigs for 6 months till someone showed me their tornado .Instead of cartridges, now fluid that heated ..........wow i was hook, line and not stinker...........No smell, nice flavours, this was 27 months back

Some good set ups for not too much

I'm still recommending the iStick battery and an EMOW head, really good price and excellent vapour, going straight to a Subtank might put you off and you'll still have an upgrade path.

as advised above, i changed the coil on my aspire atlantis, filled it with new flavour juice and it tasted amazing, and still is. new coil every week from now on. bought a few small bottles of juice from trip hammer just to sample before buying larger quantities and i can't believe how amazing they taste. the jammy dodgers tastes exactly like the biscuit, and the raspberry ripple is equally good. time to place an order for larger bottles. also, there was one post concerning the resistance of the coils, the aspire atlantis coils are sub ohm, 0.5 ohms iirc. I'm beginning to wonder why i even smoked when these things taste so good!
