Car is currently having its bodywork sorted then booked into with Richard Henry for a couple of bits and hopefully for a remap next month with Andrew Carr. No longer for sale so will be enjoyed thoroughly over summer, hoping to do a few trackdays/rwybs

Cheers guys the aim is to get the wastegates piped optimally to allow a little more boost and aid spool. Few older pics I had saved

Some pics of the engine as it was built up in November 2013 (6 months use) after a strip down to change the headstuds

I will have to find a climate control panel and get this done!

Only thing I am not clear on is the temperature side of things. I assume the temp readout is from the internal sensor in the dash. Would love to get an external temp reading from the climate control unit!

Yep the temp is takien from the cabin sensor for the auto function on the unit but must be possible to locate a sensor somewhere to take the reading. The unit is from a forrester and come up on ebay from time to time.

A tidy rear end and a rear wiper.... All sounds a bit gay to me
Could have been worse right enough... Could have been a P1!

Credit where credits due though Banny.. Me likely a lot!

RS500 style intercooler from airtec

Very interesting radiator and intercooler setup you have there. I like the fact that there is less pipework.

Whats involved with this, I see thats an Airtec RS500 intercooler. But what about the radiator, is it custom built or an off the shelf item?

Also, are you still running fans with that rad?

Thanks for that info mate, I like the look of that setup. Do you mind if I copy it?!

So you had the bottom outlet moved from the other side of the rad? Trying to get this clear in my head. Top hose is on the left side of the rad if looking from the front, and bottom hose is on the right side if looking at the rad from the front?

Its just in your picture, it shows the two hose connectors on the left side of the rad. I assume you had the mod to the out let done after that pic was taken?

What about the smaller outlet right at the top? Ive looked at other VR6 rads online and cant see any with the small outlet at the top.

Its a good setup no issue with your copying it at all

That rad in the pic you posted is the wrong one, it was changed after that for a larger item.

This is the actual setup now with the correct rad, will get you more pics once I have it back
