A touch of negative chambers helps tuck the tyre under the arch.

I've had quite a few say arches still needed rolling even with camber bolts fitted & setup! So I just went for it and bought the roller ready!

Finally got some good weather and time on the car today so I rolled the rear arches, fitted camber bolts all round and fitted the wheels. About time too!

Camber not adjusted yet but have taken it for a good hack and no rubbing at all. Rather pleased with my efforts!

Few pics.

those tools are very helpfull ,just take your time and warm the paint i got about half an inch hairline crack in the paint on one side but quick tidy up and touch up and all sorted , i did give a good coat of black hammerite on the inside of the arch lip to help protect it , i dont run camber bolts just went straight to rolling the arch mine didnt need a hard roll

Same as Maydew said really. Took my time to heat up the arch before I went to work on it with a heat gun. Then I used a rubber hammer to start forming the inside lip by hand and give a gradual fold. Then more work with the heat gun and loads of passes with the roller tool adjusting bit by bit stopping to re-heat in between. Don't try to fold it too quickly or the paint will crack.

Had a slight paint crack on the underside out of sight on one side which I filled with touch up paint. Looks perfect now. 2nd side is 100% perfect, no paint cracks or loss at all, all folded in and looking great with no touch up needed. Managed to pull the arches ever so slightly too in the process so the wheels sit better.

Here is my 04 blob sti with xxr 527 in flat bronze et35 18 x 8.75 and Federall rsr 245 35 18(track tyres so square shouldered and measure 10" across, more like 255).
2.5 deg camber on the front and 2 deg on the rear.
Had to pull the front arches as getting scrubbing into corners and pulled / rolled the rear arches out 1inch 1/2" to make rub free under very hard driving.
Sat right on down on bc Coilovers to lower the centre of gravity as much as pos due to hard use on track mainly.
Here is a few pics and some from japfest a few weeks ago.
Cheers Chris

That looks lovely!

Howz the tyre scrub with those camber settings? Still relatively even?

On track and laughing hard in still getting it onto the Outside of the tyres and hitting the outside edge especially on the rears.
That's mainly comes front eh grip the tyres provide rather than under steering. Running full arbs on full stuff.
Ideally I'd like to go 3" deg on the front and. 2.5 deg on the back but at 2.5/2.0 now I'm getting slight wear on the inside edges on the front.
Cheers.

Had my camber, tracking, caster & tow setup today. Camber set at -2deg negative at the rear and -1.6deg negative at the front. Wheels tuck in just right now. Looks grand!

Could have got around -2.5 at any corner with the camber bolts if required, but thankfully not needed. Will see how the tyre wear goes. I have scope to bring the rears back out again cos of the arch roll if required.

Yes, got them from ebay, bought 1 of each hex and star type sets to make it harder to nick the wheels.
Some nice looking cars on here
