Mines still the same, attempted start last night and turning over for a while before the lump lump start, as before noticed a little bit of blue smoke and heavy fuel smell (cold start)
Still think this a fuel problem as the oils appears from "Bore Wash" as there is no other oils usage or leaks, unless i have the start of a piston ring issue??
Going to get in touch with Duncan and have the map checked as i want the Pops & bangs removed.
Was wondering if this is causing the over-fuel issues??

 

Mine still struggles sometimes even after remap and coolant change/flush. I can usually tell when its not going to start and give it a little bit of throttle and it starts,sometimes lumpy sometimes not! It does run and idle alot better from cold still since coolant flush so was still worth it i think. Doesn't help our problem though!?
Has everyone with this problem have pink 550cc injectors?

 

Who did you guys use for your remaps?

 

For about 7yrs it had a scoobyclinic map but now has a slowboy map and had the problem with both maps. I never noticed it for the first couple of yrs of ownership though!
