Now this is how you launch an STI!!!

450bhp STI 12.76
370 STI with LC 12.91

...makes my 12.6 with 333/307 look a bit daft!

Is it now a prerequisite that all WRX owners smoke crack? (these guys have big big issues - they have STI envy AND JDM Envy, I bet their mothers dont even like them!)

I have JDM Newage WRX envy.

I want to go on record as saying the Blobeye V-Limited WRX is the best Subaru ever made.

They are 1290kg to 1390kg on paper depending on year and spec.

Finally found a thread discussing the JDM 2.0 STI and the UK 2.5 STI... not the outcome I expected! Can anyone let me know where there is solid info? not just peoples opinions with videos on drag strips? Things I'm interested are relate to servicing differences, how easy/hard is it to get parts for the JDM engine in the UK? What are they both like to live with for someone whos not a racing legend? Further expanding on that what's a better drive the Hatch or the Saloon again does the engine make any difference to that(when I saw better what turns in sharper? What rides better? What has more supportive seats?) Does the 2.5 have more torque due to the higher capacity or is the 2.0 running most boost to give it more power and torque?

Sorry about the bump of an old thread, I'm getting desperate for info.

No, you found a thread where our local WRX troll is making himself look stupid!

There are TONNES of threads about the superiority if the JDM engine, and the JDM variants of the Impreza, the search engine is a wonderful tool.

You probably wont ever need parts for the JDM engine - thats one of the benefits.

...and if you do they are all readily available at no extra cost to a UK car.... JDM wins hands down for me in all areas.

Owned a 2.5 STi and driven plenty of 2.0 JDM STi's, If you want the simple answer to which one is best, "JDM STi"
