I think people often forget how "fragile" ones circumstances can be - it is easy to become complacent
a couple of poor decisions, a few unfortunate events, like redundancy or financial fraud committed against you
and it could be you

I remember the saying from your post on my father's office wall. It had a painting of a tall natural water fall touching the lowly earth with its soothing and substantial shower, and the writings stood out in front of it.
