Main Dealer Service Offer
Hi guys thought I would just let you midlands guys know that Unity Leicester are looking to offer local scoobynet members servicing and cam belt deals for their cars that will be comparable if not better than local tuners.
Unity Leicester is part of the group that also own Cross Roads and Carstins who have been long time suppliers of Subaru.
I will have finalized prices within the next few days but the benefits over the tuners will be
Cost compared to tuners
Dealer stamp in the service book
Parts and labour are covered by Subaru warranty
Genuine parts used and fully synthetic oil
Free vehicle health check and report
Free wifi and tea and coffee in our showroom
We can also supply aftermarket parts both standard and upgraded as we have good contacts with not only Pro-r but Whiteline, Alcon , Samco, Exedy to name a few.
If you want anymore info or want a quote on any work I think you will be surprised at our prices please email me on chris@unityautomotive.co.uk
Thanks
Chris

cost wise will have to be very good dealer prices and hate to say it but a decent tuner service stamp is worth way more to me than a dealer when it comes to subaru im afraid.
Dealers just don't have the knowledge the tuners do.

Ok so prices are as follows for 2008 on cars
10,000 service £99 inc vat
20,000 service £135 inc vat
30,000 service £135 inc vat
40,000 service £235 inc vat
cambelt changes genuine belt no tensioners £270 inc vat
we are looking to do the same for older vehicles to so will get that across in due course.
tidgy I understand where your coming from but I know personally most of the tuners out there with us competing in time attack for 2 seasons and myself having Impreza in various states of tune over the last 12 years. So be rest assured Unity Leicester do know our stuff. From M.D down to the parts guys with have owned personally or have had a involvement in the performance sector.

£270 to fit just a cambelt, i know of at least 1 tuner that will fit a full cam belt kit for not much more than that.
Also why does the price for servicing increase with every 10000 miles, every 10000 miles service should include the same parts to be fitted regardless, plugs, air/oil/fuel/cabin filters, oil, and top up of other fluids if required, at most you may look at changing the brake fluid at 40k miles but in all honesty it never really needs it, a quick bleed at the calipers and top up is suffice.
My guess is 10k is just an oil and filter, 20k is oil and filter and an air filter, same for 30k possibly and the 40k service i reckon includes a set of plugs aswell. Seems steep really when i know i can get a complete service kit including using descent oil for about £100.

I've used the Unity group many times and can't recomend them enough. They are very knowledgeable and have serviced and supplied all my cars from my classics right through to my CS400.
You may find it a little cheaper elsewhere but in my opinion a main dealer service stamp is worth the little extra. In my eyes it's not just about the cost especially when the prices are so close it's the whole package of how you are dealt with.
At the end of the day you pay your money and take your choice but I know where I'd be taking mine.
