Default My 2006 Spec C

Picked up my first Scooby yesterday! Had a long 5hr drive home to get to know it and I haven't stopped grinning since! I'm sure there will be more to come but here's 3 to start. It's in great condition, many thanks to the guys at Torque GT for such an amazing car!

What a purchase for a first time Scooby owner! Very nice!

I see it's got some proper tyres as well. Looks lowered too. What mods does it have?

I see a nice R32GTR in the corner as well.

Keep us updated on your progress mate.

Thanks guys, still getting used to it but loving every minute! The tires are nice but I think the fronts need changing soon, has Yokohama 235/45 R17 94W at the moment. I'm not sure it's had much done, it has a new air filter and a device for adjusting the dampening on the fly, the rest looks standard to my untrained eye!

They definitely import some great cars!

Apart from the gauges, suspension and induction kit(which is a but dubious due to no cold air feed) it looks very much a nice clean, standard example, is this the one they had for just shy of £15k?

Yeah, that's the one. Do you think I should do something about the induction kit? The original air box and cold air feed are in the boot.

I'd put the standard box back on personally, looks like you'd have to relocate the alarm box if that's what I can see front left, Has it been remapped by torque for UK fuel?

I would need to ask them, I don't know if it has been remapped

I've always been a bit dubious about fitting an induction kit on one of these cars. How does it run?

I don't have anything to compare it to but it seems to run really well to me!

Had an RCM on my old Spec C-sounded immense, like an asthmatic Octimus Prime!

Sorry for the newbie question but as I'm new to this, what's an rcm? Is that just the brand? That engine bay looks nice! Makes me feel a bit better about not having a cold air feed. Did you do anything to yours that you would recommend I do?

Hello mate, RCM-Roger Clark Motorsport, it's up there with the best available parts for a Subaru. I had a cold air feed routed up from a brake duct.

It was an immaculate car, to put it in perspective of how much Spec C prices have gone up, it had 11000 miles on and I sold it for £11800, a bargain, probably a £15-16k car now.

Ah cool, I'll check them out. Was the cold air feed custom or is it a n easy aftermarket part to pick up?

Whoever got yours got an absolute bargain!

Easy to do mate, picked up some tubing from eBay and routed it from the OEM brake ducts from Revolution.
