Hi,

Does anyone know where to buy replacement bulbs for the classic WR spoiler (RB5) brake light? I have a couple gone, is it possible to replace them individually?

Are they not LED's?

If so, it's a SOLDERING JOB AND NOT EASY.

I'm not sure to be honest, I would guess they are, I wont get a chance to look before the weekend.
I was hoping someone might be able to point me to some so I can order them and fit them Saturday. Soldering them isn't a problem

Subaru said the only supplied the complete light but don't have stock I guess as it was a prodrive item?

Well took light apart and the found the bulb types, if anyone has to change them in future the bulb type is 2.3W 286X.

They ARE bulbs then?

Type 286 comes up as 1.2W

You're right, that should have read 286X which is 2.3w. The 286 are 1.2w.

Yes just push fit, no idea why Subaru dealer didn't know they was replaceable
