Default Blobeye exhaust options?

Recently got a Blobeye

It is totally standard, apart from a very very quiet STi backbox

it is still fully catted

What options are there if I want to keep the standard D/P

Is it 2.5" fitment, and backbox / mid section without messing with remaps or CEL issues etc ?

If you keep the standard catted downpipe, u can replace the centre cat, mid section and rear box all with aftermarket exhaust parts without the need for a remap and no cel will come on.

U could replace the downpipe for a sports cat downpipe such as the prodrive one, very good for power gains although probably little sound change.

The best sound though is a fully decatted turbo back exhaust.

I can vouch for the afterburner raptor if you like it loud.... Awesome sound.
Supposed to soubd very similar to the Blitz Nur Spec R (which is a bit more pricey).

if you want to stay with 2.5 fitment then I would highly recommend the Blitz Nur Spec S. I have one on mine and it gives a great burble, and sounds awesome when giving the car some beans, but not mad loud like the Nur Spec R (which is a full 3 inch system and if fitted would require a re-map)

I have the Hayward and Scott 3" full decat, customer service and built quality is excellent, far superior to other systems I've had in the past including milltek.

Oh, and it sounds glorious

Default Backbox 'upgrade' question

Got a 2006 sti with the standard sti backbox. I'm looking for something I can put on that has just a bit more noise so I can hear the burble but isn't ridiculously loud, Just a little louder ;-). I don't want to replace the entire system or the cat.
