Default Rusty wheel balancing weights.

Was washing the old girl at the weekend and noticed that nearly all my wheel balancing weights were rusty.

They're the stick on type so will they cause any damage to the wheels or jsut look unsightly without actually doing any harm?

Cheers

Being separated by an adhesive layer, I shouldn't imagine they will do any harm. But that's the first I've ever heard of them not being made of lead and actually going rusty!

It's the first time i've seen them rust as well, that's why i was a little alarmed.

I can only assume it's some sort of coating or covering if they are indeed still made of lead.
