My mate has a J plate fizzy running big turbo, chip and funny pistons ect. The standard Gearbox can't take the heat, and so was wondering which box would be considered a suitable upgrade, with regard to handling big bhp.
Anyone in the know, or know where i could find out? The fizzy turbo forums have nowt on scoobynet from what i can tell.

1.8 fiesta/escort diesel gearbox.....
sounds simple but works, mate has one on 220 brake escort, standard boxes are sh*t!!!
or, 1.1 pop plus gearbox, fast as **** acceleration/last 5 mins/105 top end

I'd echo what was said about the diesel's g'box. I used to have a Fiesta and was on fiestaturbo.com quite a bit and that was def the mnost popular option.
