Hi, my brother is looking at a audi which the owner say's is a v car. Any one know where I can get info on V cars? Or what exactly what the deal is with them?

By V Car i presume he means that the car is on the Vehicle alert register, i.e. crashed/wrote off/stolen. If you was to do a HPI check on the car it would show up which one, though the owner should be able to tell you why its on the V Car list.

Hope that helps, my old Nissan 200sx was on the V Car list, lovely car, and it made no difference to me, although i wount buy another unlesss extremely cheap.

You might have to pay higher insurance premiums aswell,and expect a smaller payout if its stolen/written off.
